For a small town girl like me for who an elevator is the most technically advanced place she's ever been in that place looks like from a Sci-Fi movie.
If I got to such place I'd probably wander around aimlessly for hours and end up getting lost in the shop.

If the other melee stats are around the same exp, I'd say yes. Difficult to say though because they have QP and quite a few stats in the mid-level range, where gold farmers usually just specialize in a couple/a few.

Could just be a normal player running a bot program though. You can post it in the Help & Action Center and see if they get taken care of. It's worked for me. :)
