I know one should not handhold too much, but perhaps it is nice to have a line of text in the quest log hinting that some items have to be gathered outside of the penguin base.

When you're asked to collect stuff for Elon, he does actually say that you might have to go among the humans to get things.

Yes I know and perhaps I am asking for too much handholding here. It is just my personal experience that I did not interpret this as going outside of the base. Of course I did figure it out, but I think it would help greatly to have some sort of reference written in the quest log as well.

I remember back when quests required more thought. There were no obvious hints like highlighting the important parts of quest dialogue, or the npc flat out telling you to go here and do this.

I can already see the next Elemental Workshop quest coming with a tutorial with arrows and pointers and sht
Experience may be the best teacher, but necessity gives you a crash course.

I've already done the quest but 1 thing that I noticed was that the white and gray boxes were very hard to tell apart when trying to figure out the correct sequence. Maybe this could be changed to either gray or white and some other color so it's easier to tell the difference because I'm assuming others are having the same problem.

It was a fun quest. I didn't really get the references but it was still enjoyable to play. I wonder what happened to buzz, was there a way to save him?

Yeah apparently there were a lot of references to Dr. Who (which I've never seen) so I didn't get most of them either. However I thought that the 'mining bots' in the mining guild were hilarious.

I don't think there was any way to save him sadly :(

Patch notes > all things.

"A variety of lucky items from Treasure Hunter can now be stored with Diango. Please note that dying and not protecting the items will still permanently lose the item."

This is nice.

Thanks for the thread, Lee.

No problem! I have to do these more frequently. I was doing these often but then it was getting less and less traction and I stopped. This feedback is very valuable though.

I agree, the Patch Notes are always the best! Have you seen the excellent videos of them that the RuneScape channel provides? :) :) :)

I enjoyed the quest, but the ending seemed a little, I dunno... rushed? Some more details of just how we sabotaged things would have been good.

All the Doctor Who, Back to the Future and song lyric references made me chuckle, which was good :)

A lot of people are complaining about the quest puzzle, which surprises me because there was a very good, explanatory 'help' text available - but since so many people clearly didn't see it, perhaps things like this need to be made more prominent in future?

Storing luck items with Diango = win. Anything that saves bank space is good.

#freebuzz !!

Yeah the puzzle confused me personally at first but then I scrolled over the 'i' for information on it and it was quite clear. Got it on my first try after I had read through that. I've never played 'Mastermind' which is what the puzzle was based off of so I wasn't sure on what to do.

I loved the Back to the Future references, didn't get any of the Dr. Who ones though sadly.

Glad you enjoyed the quest and the patches!

I enjoyed the quest but, like Archaeox said, the end felt rushed. I loved the puns and the references to "Back to the future" and "Dr Who" and I'm sure there were others I wasn't aware of.

Yeah, and what about Ping and Pong? We need more post-quest fun stuff

I agree. I felt a bit bad about not being able to free Ping and Pong or release Buzz, especially as I'd told them I would see what I could do.

RIP Ping, Pong and Buzz. There should be a sub-quest after this one that allows you to help them and what-not. It would be fun.

Yeah a few people have said that they felt like the ending was rushed, it could have been drawn out a little longer but I think it was great.

I agree! There should be a sub-quest afterwards to help out Ping, Pong and Buzz. It would be a blast.

This was like Halloween 3. Had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the series, and was painfully amateurish and pointless.

I'm sorry that you felt that way. Care to explain more on this?

I really enjoyed the quest, just two points of feedback:

1. The initial gathering within the quest gives the false impression everything can be gathered within the quest itself. Later however you need to venture to Draynor manor and a slayer master for two of the needed items for the TARDIS. I know one should not handhold too much, but perhaps it is nice to have a line of text in the quest log hinting that some items have to be gathered outside of the penguin base.

2. The final mastermind puzzle was mainly confusing for me due to the colouring: grey colours indicating the correct energy being in the right spot is counterintuitive (I thought white indicated the correct energies in the right spot instead). Solution: change the grey colour to green (a far more universal and intuitive indication that something is correct).

And just a very minor point: the interface of the mastermind puzzle. A lot of the right part of the interface is just empty space, so why not slim it down a bit? (this is me nitpicking =p)

Anyways that is all the feedback I got for a fun quest =)

Great feedback! Glad you enjoyed the quest.

I definitely agree that instead of white and gray, it should be green and red to be more universally noticeable. Even green and white would suffice.
