How about a quiz/knowledge/skill based questioning session. Similar to a poll but you answer questions. There would be like 50 or so, and would require knowledge and intuivity to answer.
This would be a fun competition and the people who get all the correct answers/most would be put up on a post somewhere to acknowledge their achievement. The main thing to keep this game fair would be a "TEXT BOX" to input your answer if possible for some questions so that the correct answers will be harder for people to distinguish.

No one would be told their final score until after a certain deadline. Then the winners would be announced, and then average scores. For F2p, P2p, and level breakdowns.

Players sign up for the event they want to happen as a reward on the forums. Examples:
1. KBD in Lumbridge for 1 week. (Tamed of course)
2. Varrock on fire. Flames surround Varrock.
3. Coffee. The tea seller in Varrock sells coffee now.
4. Bananas cause players to slip & fall
5. Fireworks
The winning team's event is then put into the game for a 1 week period.
The competition is 3-fold.
1. Castlewar's tickets earned (Combat related)
2. Skills (Experience related) Total experience earned.
3. Tasks Based on the percentage of players on a team who perform various tasks listed by Jagex.
The team with the most total points gets its event in Runescape for one week.

I feel runescape needs a new armor, and I think the fans should decide what that armor is, and looks like.
One that requires 80 defence to wear. Not just for melée, but for Mage and ranged as well.
This armor should degrade, otherwise that would put third age from 100m +, to 1m or something.
This contest should be sent to jagex by email, or by mail.
The winner should win 100m runescape GP, and/or lifetime runescape membership.
The cost should range from 30-100m, and this armor is obtained by new monsters released with a new quest. CB level 200+
Basic rules apply.
The armors stats will be determined by Jagex(must have higher stats that the ancient warriors equipment)
Contestants should draw the male and female version of the armor, and the weapon should have a special attack listed, and described.
Players can have a drawing for each category, but no more than 1 per category(category meaning melée, ranged or magic.)

I seem to make the plea whenever you guys hold a Video-Competition, so I'm glad to see you taking sugguestions.
What I want competition wise, is a contest that opens the doors to Jagex, to those who can't necessarily make a video. There are such broad arays of talent, that is seems almost unfair that video-makers always get the trip to Jagex. I meaqn just to name a few, you have:
-Story-Tellers
-Poets
-Artists
-Geniuses (Hope my spelling of that word is... genius :S.)
-Genisues... at RuneScape.
-Unique Talents
-Singers
-Comedians
Just because I can't make a well-edited, funny video like Excl, doesn't mean I can't tell an action-packed story. And just because another player isn't the best story-teller, doesn't mean he isn't good at something else.
I just want to see the oppertunity to visit Jagex, opened to those who haven't been able to participate in the video competitions.
And finally, you wouldn't have to increase the regularity of trips. You have a video competition what, every six months? So have a Player's Gallery every month, and than the Sixth month have the prize upgraded to a trip!
And most importantly, just mix it up. I beg you not to give out three trips, in three video contests. Have a video contest, than a story competition, than a gallery competition (again, over a resonable amount of time).
Change it up some. Max Quest Points. Max Cool Points. Host of the Immensely Popular Lords of the Wait.

IDEA 1 im thinking of a new mini game 3 teams going at each other 1 team will try too collect something(i Dont rly know what :) ) team 2 will try to keep them from collecting THem and team 3 will be killing Team 2 and 1 :) IDEA 2 how about making a new treasure lokation for ftp (Like the 10k+safety gloves in da place with all da cockroaches)it'll be out in da higest lvl of da wildy in a cave filled with lesser demons,shades,skellies(cant have a cave without skellies :) ) ,a undeaad pirate guy guarding his treasure (pirate guy might be between the lvls of 90-100) making it very hard to get the treasure wat s in the chest is jagex's decision) oh where do u go to get ur saftey gloves back??

for my idea #1 the rules are
1.)no going after jst 1 person if on team2or3 couse then ud be ruining some1s fun and then id get very mad
2.)if ur on team 2 or 3 u cannot collect the stuff
3.)have fun :) 4.)leave a comment righ afterthis if u like or hate this idea :)
for idea #2
1.)have fun tring to get to the cave and geting the treasure
2.)noone can teleport strait to the cave
3.)must type this code in to get through the treasure room door: jagex is awsome
4.)comment after this if u like or dislike this idea

plz. type idea#1or2 before ur comment so i know what idea ur talking about
