This is an odd ploy to get likes Jagex... I've made many accounts and have stuck with this game for so long, but lately you're selling out - BIG TIME. Maybe if these kids realized what Facebook is really used for (FBI Profiling) they would see this is just a way to get more people onto Facebook. You people DO REALIZE that once you upload ANYTHING onto Facebook it is considered their property, and is kept forever in a database right? Sure, you can choose NOT TO make a Facebook account, but the way Jagex is promoting it is very scary and will more than likely get loads of kids who don't know what Facebooks' motive really is signing up just to win something. Ever try deleting a Facebook account? Then you know how much of a HASSLE it is - because Facebook DOESNT WANT YOU TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT BECAUSE ITS THE BEST WAY THE FBI AND OTHER INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES GATHER INFORMATION ON PEOPLE. Think I'm lieing? Look into it. Knowledge is the ultimate power - know before you go.

glad its only junk they are giving away I dont want need or ever intend to have a face book account. Im actually quite angry that a game I love will require such social network stupidity.
Facebook should and will never be my portal to this game. I would in fact post on my facebook had I one. That parents should beware of runescape. Runescape is no longer for 12-18 year old users. The joke filter is useless now that jagex has the togel that makes everyone able to exploit children. The togel is so easy I know if I was a child I could use the togel with a parent in the room and keep them from seeing that I am playing without.
Jagex never gave parents consent for the add of the togel to remove filter. Without said consent Jagex broke their promise to parents.
Sadly Jagex entering facebook is a mistake for them. Jagex can control what players say about them here but on facebook they have no such protection. I fear that the reality is as negative as these forums have become that faceback will explode with more negative feedback that Jagex cant limit by their forum restrictions.

I think it is OK for Runescape to have a page on FaceAche, but it is not ok for them to run 'exclusives' either in competitions or Game content information.
Anyone who looks on those pages will see it is much like parts of rants was, with the addition of click-ons to pages offering Runescape accounts for sale, and RWT - I have no doubt there will be bot ads as well somewhere.
Given that there are dedicated Jmods for FaceScape, these should be removed pretty quick - but they are not. Not clever Jagex.
Have a Fan page there - but do some daily housekeeping - it is YOUR page, you are inviting YOUR customers there, YOU need to be more careful of what is on YOUR wall and photo comments.

@Soviet Italy Stfu troll.
"3.Jagex will generally attempt to notify the winner of a Competition within a reasonable timeframe after the closing date of a Competition. Winners will be contacted via email or inbox message to the given Jagex account name. Jagex reserves the right to select an alternative winner if there is no communication from the winner of a competition within 14 days of closing the Competition unless otherwise stated in any terms and conditions relating specifically to the Competition." -Jagex Terms and Conditions
I replied to their message. I would be surprised that they chose someone else just because I left out one thing in my message. I also chose to email Mod Scorpion. If you could tell me at least what I did wrong or what I need to do, PLEASE let me know ASAP.

I think its a bad idea for you to start encouraging players to go to a different site regarding rs. I think its a poor practice to encourage players to go to another site where they can easily be giving up personal information that could make it easier for hackers and stalkers to have access. You are beginning to encourage rule breaking in your own slippery slope way....very disappointing....you are in fact luring by offering prizes and getting kids who trust you to follow you to another site where they harvest personal information...you need to ban yourself for this one, its an outrage...can you feel my anger building as I write this...you were a trusted company and site....not anymore.
