Now if this contest used Youtube like "Subscribe to our channel for a chance to win." Sure, I'd have 0 problems with that. But Twitter/Facebook... no thanks. I'll pass. I hate facebook and everything about it, and I am not the only one who thinks this. Now, I'm not ranting at how this is simply a ploy to make more money it's Jagex's game they can do as they please but I'm simply stating if it's Facebook I pass.
I hate facebook especially since it lags my computer, however I liked you on my personal facebook, and Pinta77's facebook.
Twitter however, I cant even figure out how to use it. Can't help ya there :/

After reading a few of the replys, I'm a bit amused. Some people claim this is a "popularity contest". And they are 100% right. So? You have the right to have a popularity contest, you're Jagex.
Next, the security issues, thats a facebook thing. It has nothing to do with Jagex. You should not rant about it here, because Jagex is not incharge of facebook.
So my over all opinion, I see nothing wrong with this, but it definetly wasn't your best idea.
i agree the are soooo many bots mining and other skills to if you get rid of them ill like you on facebook. most people are bots now we might as well quit the game if everyone bots!

I'm guessing publicity scheme... And i think that this isn't the best prize that they've given out, I'd rather take $10,000 in cash because then i could buy more mems instead of having autographed stuff that only rs people would want =/
