The problem is that this is part of the account security system - it is assumed that an account hijacker would be unlikely to know even approximately when the account was started... so having that information available would be, shall we say, a bit counter-productive. ;)

As promised by how I answered Question 5 & because I don't wanna be a liar :o, here's my little post :)

I enjoyed this Poll :) made me think about Rs a bit deeper than the usual: "What shall we do today?"
Other than that, I've always enjoyed filling in the more non-content Polls :D

I thought it was interesting. It's like Jagex was asking how you play the game. Like some would play it just like a normal MMORPG, or some would play it like they we're actually there, or just to chat around with people, making new friends. It mau also be a way to get to know the players. Makes sence to me, right?

i love the use of all those emoticons, it's quite like me when typing something! :D

i'd just like to say about the first question, it varies ...
Like when i'm doing a farming run it's just the me irl that is bored. But when i'm doing a quest like A void dance :D i feel myself alot more in the game, and even more so when the storyline is intrigueing (like while guthix sleeps, where some of your "friends" die)

just wanted to clear that one up ^_^

I just had to comment about this poll, first time for everything I suppose.

I have known many people on this game and met them IRL. What I have found is that some people talk about their characters as if they are a living entity. Their characters have emotions and would be upset if they don’t play or if they quit. At one point the thought did cross my mind that they were complete and utter whack jobs, but w/e floats their boat I guess.

As for me, I don’t believe my character is anything like me, perhaps what I would like to be if I was in Runescape, sorta kinda anyway. What she is to me is a representation of me and extension. People come to escape this game and create themselves a new image, but their old self (persona, personality, likes, dislikes, prejudices and such) still shine through. So for me my account is just a vessel used to have some downtime from IRL, but as well to be a role model for others and help others in any way I can. Jagex has made this a much more difficult task, but helping those in need IRL and in game there is no really difference, because while it is seen as a character doing the act of helping I know it’s really the person behind the scene doing the deed (good or bad). When I leave a situation, IRL or on game I hope to have left it better than when I came upon it.
