i think its great for clan events etc, i just hope it is a clan feature and not public. i dont want random people trying to talk to me i have enough to listen to while on vent.
i vote yes =* i think its awesome i use ventrilo every day anyway.

Jagex claimed in a somewhat recent past (about 2009-2010) that Runescape continues to be a browser game because they want it to "run on every computer"... then they come up with this? Maybe you've changed your mind?
I vote no. And my computer/connection is more than enough for voice chat.

I play Runescape on several different computers.
Some computers better than others. I would be scared to try any voice programs on the worst computer. I would love to give it a try on my best. I really wish there was different settings attached to my login, and I could choose one when I log in.
Also, chat in the general public would be a mess. Can you imagine the exchange? It would have to be limited to friends or clans. Maybe be able to be in one clan chat and one voice chat.
As it is, since the wildy update, I've had trouble running Runescape in that worse computer. I'm using the runescape launcher, and it doesn't crash so often, but the display is all messed up like it's storing two different images in the same location. But I haven't filed a report; I was happy just getting the game to run on that computer.

Im not gonna complain about how you are wrong its just that some people cant get a better job cause of stupid obama ruining the economy so its sometimes just impossible to get one to pay for the better internet and some people cant get it cause there not old enough and there parents wont buy it for them so its not really there fault somtimes. And ive heard from people that Jagex should improve there servers for stuff like this.
Just sayin and im not complaining im just making a statement cause im 95% sure my cpu can handle the voice chat.

Giving people the opportunity to talk in-game to each other by using a voice chat would be an excellent idea. It's much easier to help, to have fun, to communicate, ...
I use voice chats, but only with people I knew before I played RuneScape.
Of course there will be some players who will abuse the system. That's the reason why I think an age limit will be necessary, just like the age limit on chatting without using the quick chat.
It's a great idea, but without an age limit or other kinds of protection it will be risky.

So who cares that sounds personal to me, if they "can't" go out and look for a better job just to get better internet then I suppose that is thier issue. If thier parents wont pay for a better internet service then they can go out and
get a paper route like I did when I was 10yrs old.
Just because they can't afford the good things in life doesnt mean I who can afford it have to miss out on much needed updates to the rs servers.
This update would benefit people for many things.
In my honest oppinion "if you cant afford a better service of internet" then stop paying for "members" (if you have it) and put that 5.95 toward a better internet service in the near future.

Here are some of my idea's for voice chat.
A.It should be free :) B.You can only voice chat with friends,otherwise you never know what you will hear.
C.You may turn on/off voice chat whenever you want.
D.You have the opportunity to change whether you want voice chat on or off in your clan...
Just some ideas on what I think would make voice chat better,if we even get it.
