I know a lot of my friends use voice chat while playing RS. I don't, but only because I sit have my computer in the living room. I would love to use it, but I find it wouldn't be convenient since my family sits same place. He he, I am the mom in the house, and well, I guess you can understand why.
However, when I am alone, it would be great. Voice chat would make it easier since I wouldn't have to type, and there for have my hands free to move my caracter instead of answering, talking to those I play with in different situationes. I used to be in a clan, and we used to have this treasure trail thing going on. We used to get clues, kind of like treasure trail clues, and at the end there would be a price. We all pitched in cash for the reward, and competed to get to it first. It was really fun. During those events it would have been great with voice chat.
Other than that, I love this game

To be honest, I don't think it made much difference. However, it may have got Jagex thinking more. If this was part of your doing then well done .
Remember Jagex main reason was ppl use skype and vent to hold conversations to each other.

Damn voice chat would be great, It makes chatting to friends so much faster, you can get whole conversations out in a minute which would've taken five with text. Also you can put a much greater amount of emotion into your voice, meaning things like sarcasm, etc, will be far easier to convey It's just sad to think that if this goes ahead, soon the only text we'll be seeing is, 'Join '****' to make 400bil per hour!!@!@!@!@'. Worth it though >: )
