I WOULD LOVE IT IF JAGEX MADE A VOICE CHAT! IVE ALWAYS BEEN WANTING TO USE A VOICE CHAT BUT NEVER WHAT TO USE OR THE PEOPLE TO VOICE CHAT WITH, I DONT HAVE MANY FRIENDS ON RUNESCAPE LOL. IT WOULD BE REALLY REALLY COOL IF THEY MADE THIS, AND IT WOULD MAKE RUNESCAPE MUCH MORE FUN BECAUSE YOU COULD MAKE LOTS OF FRIENDS ON RUNESCAPE BECAUSE OF THIS.
GREAT JOB JAGEX ON MAKING SO MANY GOOD UPDATES LATELY (OLD WILD, FREE TRADE, PROFANITY FILTER, HATI WOLF, OLD WILD [SO GREAT I HAD TO PUT IT TWICE], ECT.) AND IF YOU MADE A VOICE CHAT IT WOULD REALLY BLOW ME AND OTHERS AWAY WITH HOW GREAT YOU GUYS ARE MAKING RUNESCAPE!

absolutely love the idea! please do it! but i think this could make the game prettty laggy but because of that i think it would be wise to update the game engine and then also the max cash stack would be raised aswell which also needs to happen so i think this update should happen at the same time as the updated game engine or whatever you call it.

Last year was my first year of French, and I learned a lot from talking to French Canadians on Runescape. But since Runescape only has typing and no actual talking, my French reading/writing got WAY better than my talking. I think it'd be awesome to have speech on Runescape cause I could get some well-needed pronunciation practice.
But, please, KEEP TEXT CHAT AN OPTION. There are sometimes when I really don't want everyone in my house to here my Runescape conversations :P

I think a Runescape hosted voice chat would be an excellent idea. I personally use it all the time when I play Runescape or other online games.
If you guys were to add voice chat, it should be in the clan chat, and the clan chat leader must enable voice chat.
Also in different areas(like Grand Exchange) should have voice chat channels for people to trade in.
But voice chat in general would be pretty sweet. And I think clans need it the most, whether they are Pking or fighting a boss. Or if you just want to talk to your friends. ^_^

Can other NPC's get voices, too?
Example =
- Barbarian shout "FOR GUNNAR!" with voices. Loristic, the Seeker of Lore, the Archivist of Knowledge, the World Guardian, the Diplomat of Cabbages, and the Regent of Miscellania. May anima mundi be with you and hail Guthix!
