Hmmm. There are a couple pros and cons:
Pros:
It's easier to communicate with other users
The game becomes more fun
Cons:
Personal information can be given out
It's overall to loose. ( Nothing to regulate how things run).
I also have a question. What if another user becomes angry and decides to say bad words, try to scam, and basically break all the rules? It would be hard to report them considering that one of the only ways to do that is to record the conversation and that's pretty difficult. There will always be that small group of disrespectful people who will try to break the rules, so what would happen in a situation like that. It would be hard to collect evidence from voice chat. Hopefully if voice chat will be enabled in the future, strict rules will be placed to make sure everything will run smoothly. Be Happy :)

I agree with dazany. I have played various other online computer games with voice chat, and most of them would have you download a file, then my computer would act up. Even if there wouldn't be a downloadable file to enable voice chat, I still think it would be a little too much. Be Happy :)

I have never used another program to talk to runescapers as i play but i can see where it might be useful, while pking or fighting. but this dangers another thing that most pkers/fighters try to stay away from the most which is lagg. So i'd have to say i'd agree with Dinosparky on page 2. As an alternative maybe suggest an additional site where people can chat who are on runescape?

I would like it but...
- It would be good of it didnt take up a lot of bandwith (Some people have limits)
- How would you report people?
- It would be good if it didnt make RuneScape all laggy...
- Would you have to pay for it? It would be good if it was included in the membership price....
