I use Skype and sometimes Windows Live Messenger.
I think Voice chat implementation would be nice, but totally unneeded. Why put time into developing voice chat, when there are already options available for free elsewhere? Especially considering when using any voice chat provided by you guys, not only would we be bound by your often times limiting rules (while with other voice chat programs, we are not), but I have a pretty rough feeling that things like link / file sharing would not be implemented with your system, which are vital things that you would decide to omit.
Sounds like a waste of development time to me.

Voice Chat through RS would be an extremely effective tool for coordinating events in game! If it wouldn't increase the lag that comes in certain areas, I'm all for it! It would save many people the hassle of downloading and configuring VoIP clients as well. I can't wait to see this implemented into the game!

I haven't used it. But I would be interested in using it. Though not during normal training activities, as I'm doing other stuff while fishing for example. But I would like to use it with bosses, clan matches, even role playing.

When I play RS I mostly go at it solo...
But when I dungeoneer with friends, we have to work together and the faster we get it done, the better. In this case it is excellent.
Sometimes it just kills the boredom, though.

I use voice chat frequently when it comes other games and platforms. Mostly on Xbox Live.
I am in high support for in game voice chat for Runescape. It will help out a lot of clans as well as making Dungeoneering better by more effective communication. My only concern is how you guys are going to deal with offensive statements in voice chat.
If voice chat is not going to be added in game, at least modify the rules so that we are allowed to get Skype information from a friend to be allowed to chat. While this does create security issues, Jagex has stated that they believe that the community is mature enough for the option to remove profanity filter. If we are mature enough for that, then we are mature enough to exchange Skype information.
