Well, that youtube video in suicide forest laughing at a victim of suicide cost him his entire career. Why should this be any different? Stop defending such actions, I like dark humor as much as the next guy but there's a limit you don't cross.

Also been plaguing this thread defending the banned streamer and condemning Jagex for making an obviously good decision getting rid of a toxic member of the community; clearly needs to learn a lesson just like his friend.

If jagex said they really care about the situation why haven’t they banned half the accounts in games saying the same stuff? Doesn’t make sense when it wasn’t even in game. I’ve reported a conversation of a kid telling a depressed person to do the same thing so I report it. Was anything done about it? No. The same kid continues to hunt this kid ingame and in discord and say the same stuff all the time. We continue to report it. Still nothing was done. This depressed kid ended up quitting because nothing was done. I message jagex support and got told anything outside runescape is something they can’t deal with? Even with proof jagex still wouldn’t do anything. So jagex should fix the in game shit before they go outside the game.

It doesn’t matter that she DIDN’T HEAR IT. He still said it!! He said in front of tons of people that were watching his stream. What if one if his streamers killed themselve because they heard him say it to the girl??

He DESERVED to get banned from twitch and Runecape. Obviously Jagex doesn’t want to be known for having players like this A-hole. The reason Jagex banned him is because he was streaming RUNESCAPE when he said this. As a community, we do not want this jerk to represent us or the game.
Any other game would have done the same.

?? He broke a law in his country, I’m from the US and if someone kills themselves because you told them to, you go to JAIL. He needs to learn to not say stupid things like that because “it’s funny”, “it’s cool” or whatever he was thinking. Suicide is NOT a joke, telling someone to harm themselves shows what a horrible person he really is. He said something illegal and stupid and guess what? He has to pay the consequences.

This idiot is LUCKY that he only got his accounts banned, and isn’t sitting in jail atm. Hopefully he can learn how to be respectful and a decent human being.

“He apologized” So?? He does NOT feel bad about this, his only regret is getting caught and having to pay the consequences. This could have gone a completely different way if someone killed themselves because they heard him say it. That is just something you do not say at all especially to joke about when you are on camera with an audience.

Also adding: there was evidence on his twitch account that he was botting. And only deleted it the day this incident happened after he got called out on it.

Thank you Jagex, hopefully he can learn from this mistake.

Banning somebody's account over a livestream incident that wasn't in-game, and you also admit you never had a relationship with them is pretty fucking dumb, but whatever, your game and rules. You can be as kneejerk as you want.

If Jagex/Twitch didn't react like they did i'm sure this porkchop would still be carrying on and laughing about this 'hilarious' joke. I'm glad they took action.
Imagine how the girl felt if she ended up seeing this video (not knowing he said it and seeing him say it and him and his buddy's laughing as-well)
If she was digging for attention or not, when you see on the news some girl committed suicide. surely still be laughing over your great joke then.
You may think it's a bit sensitive for someone to do that because something that was said online. it's enough to set people off if they're in the wrong mindset.

Glad to say I didn't even know what "KYS" stood for until I read this thread. Can't imagine how anyone could think it's funny to say things like that, but I would call it bullying, and bullies are the biggest cowards you'll ever meet. They say things behind others' backs, especially if they have a bunch of sheep to follow them and laugh at their jokes, and they always pick on people who are smaller or more vulnerable than them in some way. It's just a classic case of bullying in the modern "digital age" sadly, and it's good to see he got some comeuppance from Jagex.

To anyone out there struggling, stay strong in the knowledge you're better than those who try to drag you down.
