I do like it if you're making a proper poll, THANKS (it seems like that form the little I've looked into it. But Me personnaly think to base an update completely on player feedback shows lack of leadership, bad knowedge about the game and simply like an atempt to seem like ya'll still care about your players. Obviusly to consider player feedback is extreamly good, and maybe in a few cases it might be good to base it completley on it, as long as it's for the best of the game.
The first poll however was simply discusting. *goes to try to vote for real this time :) *

Angel as far as the ge jagex knows itll have to be tweaked to have the prices not bounce all over the place im sure they'll incorporate a way people can use both fairly easily :) Im sure once it goes threw, youll agree ^.^

Do you really think they are basing an update solely on player feedback?
To me, they obviously have already decided to make this update, and they are just using these vote systems to make sure that they aren't making a mistake and of course giving the players an input in the future of this game.

Well I think Jagex are making a horrible mistake by listening to these 12 year olds who's accounts are paid for by their mothers. It's not about the number of people that want something, it's about the COMMON SENSE of the people that vote. God damn, I hate 12 year olds.
And I can't wait for them to realize as their economy breaks. Theyre gonna have to introduce the rentenmark, because it's gonna be awful.
If they break the game again, I will be more than happy to relinquish my membership. Maybe i'll go back to the Xbox.

And another thing. Why is this coming now? Everyone hated them when they removed it, but when people finally accepted it and gave up protesting, Jagex give in and bring the old problems back. Nice one Jagex, real strong and authoritative.

I run a clan of mostly adult players ranging from 17 through 50. The general feel i get from my group as well as a lot of other players on our home world (48) is that bringing back the free trade would bring back all the bad issues from before. Scammers, bots (these havent been eliminated as it is, ever been to varrock essence mine lately?)etc...... I think you really need to look at your demographic of player. You have a huge base of skillers aged 25-45 years of age that although they might train combat, they are not pkers. I understand that you have a group of people that would welcome back the wildy but you do have pking worlds and bounty worlds for them to use. Why not just tweak the free trade system a little bit? As a business man myself I make decisions for the better good of everyone but there is one motto I always stick by and that is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Please, please, please consider the consequences and potential fallout from any actions you may take. Just because a vote is there does not mean you will not alienate a large group of players and I'm not sure alienating your 25-45 year old demo is a smart move. Again, just take ample time to do the right thing..no need to rush..the game is working fine!

Angel you act like the worlds going to end, ive played since 04 and free trade is what made runescape runescape, even when the ge was introduced there was STILL free trade. Dont degrade the free trade system simply because you feel its not worth your time.

And those who dont want scammers then be aware of your trades, Runescape was a learning game, you people are too babied now adays.

I am heartsick at the thought that the old wildy may return. I am even sadder at the glee the kids are expressing. They keep referring to the "thrill" of killing other players and robbing them.
These kids really need parents to check up on them. They have no care or consideration for other people.
I've experienced their callous attitudes personally, in the "bad old days" of the Wilderness. So many times they laid in wait at the abyss to rob me of my pouches and essence. There were no gravestones then. I would get back as quickly as I could and sometimes was able to retrieve a few ess, but the pouches and the ess they contained were lost. The same was true of clues. I love doing treasure trails, but pkers made doing them miserable. I was afraid because I hated losing the scrolls.
I am strong now and I can take on the high level revenants, but I wouldn't dare go into a pking wildy geared up the way I gear up for revs. Since I am not rich, I can't afford to lose my stuff, as I can't easily replace it.
I voted NO.

I like this idea... but I have a few issues with it.
First of all: Grand Exchange. Keep the limits, or all the rich players will be stealing our items. They can buy for many times more than what it's worth, and this means that poorer players will not be able to buy what they want.
Second: General Stores. The old general stores were awesome, but were removed for the same issue that you are comfortable with bringing back now. It was great to go to the general store and see if there was anything cool somebody had sold to it and was also pretty useful.
Third: Revenants. There should be revenants on certain worlds, with no PK'ers. This way we can still do quests and treasure trails and other stuff like that in the wilderness. It's kind of a shame to have to move them somewhere else, as well as all the content in the wilderness that is nearly impossible when PK'ers are present.
