Ivy i've been paying since 2005, thats a lot of money if you think about it. And if the game is no longer enjoyable, ALL that money has gone to waste. Well, not completely, as I enjoyed game play while paying. But certainly the hours and hours going into the skills I trained will be thrown away because the game will be torturous to play.
Thats if it is. I'm not saying thats it's going to be horrible. But it really really probably will if Jagex listen to their wallets and the 12 year old coc key kids that think OH YEAH PKING IS SUPER LEET MUM. Like Great Grandma and Sylar, Jagex should listen to their senior members, as they show some actual common sense.
And I want Jagex to hear my idea for SAFE WORLDS.
Is that a good idea? Tell me noow because if it isn't i'll shut up. Maybe ;)

@angel in a way a few worlds that are left alone with revs and non player combat vs player combat would be a decent idea for jagex to use like say 6 worlds are that way, and the rest holds original wildy with p vs p implemented.
However this may ruin the idea wildy is "DANGEROUS" as its supposed to be. Remember alot of ppl skilled and did quest as well back then and were rather successful with it.

I'd like that. And yes, the wildy is very dangerous. I freaking hate revenants, they get me every time and I can't tele away. It's very powerful. But okay, if they make safe worlds with revenants and not children, i'd be okay.
Then i'll move onto the broken economy. As Sylar said, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
I'm sure the fan base would be incredibly happy with just the wildy returning, free trade is un neccessary in my opinion. Why can't we just have the wildy? Skillers will be crippled. New players wont be able to make money unless the just endlessly pick flax (albeit, they do anyway :P )

Angel on the issue of trade in my opinion it is broken now, hoarders/manipulators/mercehrs all take advantage of the ge, and hoard items to profit off of other players in hopes of increasing their own wealth. Now that free trade is coming back their power over the economy has dwindled down, and it will be fair to all again.

this is one reason i strongly support this.
edit: Yes people are greedy and will try to scam others, the world is pretty corrupt so this will be unavoidable, even with trade limits therefore when this happens i strongly encourage runescape to try to educate their players.
Remember its a game, Learning is a part of it even if you dont want it to be

There must be other ways to stop merching clans. And tbh the only people they rip off seriously is the idiots that join the clans not realizing that they are pyramid schemes. The skillers and sellers who's items are affected by particular meches can just wait a few days and sell their items then.
Jagex can stop merchers by shutting down the clans, making merching a reportable offense, alerting players to the dangers of merching clans much like they alert players to the dangers of entering dungeons or the wildrness, or just putting their heads together and thinking of a solution.
