How come all you pkers claim that there are less people playing rs these days?
When I was playing back in 2006/2007 a good day there were just over 100.000 simulataneous players. These days I see times where there are 150.000 simultaneous players.
I can just note that (from this thread) there are plenty of people that play rs even though there no pk but pvp worlds. Why all these winers (pkers) keep playing rs when there are only pvp worlds is beyond what I can understand. Hopefully people will be smarter this time and I expect that wildy will not be as fun for you pkers to gang up on the weaker.
What has changed since last time is that Dungeoneering has been introduced. Plenty of good armour/combat stuff to be gained from Dung instead of clues. I guess a lot of people will play Dung instead of travel wildy. So the wining from pkers will go on..... There will not be enough prey for the pkers...
Obviously Jagex has some idea as to where they want to move this game. I just remember how happy I was when the G E was introduced. Selling/buying items over night instead of spending time in Varrock/Seers banks. got me a lot of more free time to play the game instead of just moving items.
I hope that Jagex does not make rs the favourite game of scammers again because of unlimited trade.

People can still fight green dragons even in the old wildy, why can't you? Because you are handicapped? Well maybe you rely on the Jagex too much. The world nowadays is not as easy as the world 10 years ago. There are full of gangasters and scams. It's just all about how you protect yourself and avoid from being scammed. If you are not blind, you can double check before accepting a trade. There is two trade screen windows. First one you can modify your trade and second one is to confirm. Why can't you confirm if that is what you want before you click the accept button? I believe you are not that stupid.
And why can't you use the chaos tunnel to kill green dragons instead? Because you are a level3 ? Good for you ! you are a level 3!

Removing lowest and highest prices from GE makes it hard to get simple items, like items you need for quests. I can remember how much longer it took to do simple quests before GE was introduced. You couldnt get those items from other players since it wasnt really worth the time trying to sell them. Now you can just put them in GE and wait for people to buy it. But when tree trade comes back, it just wont work anymore.

Iron why are you crying about scamming etc? Why do bots bother you so much? Who cares if people buy gold for RL money? Use your brain and you won't get scammed? Jagex have good bot detection systems now, much better than before and if they re-introduce the old wilderness it will cut out all the botting that goes on in every world at green dragons. Happy times for us all, just the people who can't pk are the ones whining because they don't have the skills needed.

I've been playing since August 2002, and I want my Runescape back. Vote yes. There is no way a sane, non ass-kissing person who played before 2007 would vote no.
Runescape was ruined, and Jagex is giving us a chance to fix it. Take it!

Although I desire returning to the old player killing era, perhaps a representative process should be used to vote.
Perhaps a cross-section of the community should be selected to vote:
*100 players from each year RuneScape has existed (at random)
*100 player moderators (at random)
*100 forum moderators (at random)
The democratic process for this vote seems unstable to me.
