I have a really mixed bag of emotions in response to this voting/updating process.
I started RuneScape back in 2006 and i remember the wildy/free trade.The wild was awsome i loved the thrill of trying to stay alive and get sum nice items at the same time,On the other hand i couldn't bare with trying to go to clan wars/do a clue scroll and all of a sudden being mobbed by clans.so in all i would like wildy back :P (nice move)
Free trade on the other hand is going to be tricky to re-cope with because i loved that when i started i had friends and nice cash stacks, but them taking it away never bothered me much, while it taught me how to do for myself and not always rely on others to back me.It really messed me up in the long run,from the hackers/botters/and merch clans cash got extremly hard to come-by unless i had it already which i didn't,id like to see it back but it will make the game too easy,the difficulty is nice in a way
after all being said,i cant wait for this to turn out im amp'd to hav mass cash and to go pking again ^_^

to the people saying prices will rise. Hello people manipulate the GE now to make the prices rise! With the price limits gone THAT WILL CHANGE. They wont be able to do it as well any more it will be a hell of a lot harder.
Separate worlds for free trade? are you joking, what would be the point in that.
Also Jagex are being way to unrealistic with this referendum expecting another 1million plus vote. There aren't 1 million plus active players any more.
They are also leaving us in the dark, at least give us an update on what the current situation is?
Also if they don't do this update they are going to lose a hell of a lot more players. Why tempt us with it? IT'S WHAT 90% OF US WANT!
A referendum is like a Government Election poll, NOT EVERYONE WILL VOTE so the government takes the overall vote as the MAJORITY. Why are you being so naive Jagex?

living2die3 you have an excellent point. I AGREE, BRING THEM BACK!
wouldn't it fun to walk in varrock central hearing merchants yelling "selling dragon hatchet 2.5m!" and "selling dragon hatchet 2m!" and you would be torn between the prices and make trading a whole lot better!
also wilderness now is plain BORING! I WALK IN WILDERNESS AND I FIND NO ONE! NO ONE AT ALL!!! it will be more exciting and fun and challenging!
i think this is a GREAT opportunity.
P.S : what game doesn't have scamming, every game has! IT'S ONLY NATURAL. i once got scammed and now i look back at that moment and i laughed and i say "good times, good times..."...

alot of you dont unnderstand in old wilds you know where to not go to keep from getting pked or where alot of pker hang out.i miss old wilds.i dont do pk woulrds becuase u cant hide or aviod pkers there but old wilds was my pass time.my place where i go to see how long i could go to void danger.i voted yes for old wilds back but i did not want free trade back.why could it not be 2 differnt votes.one for old wilds an one for free trade?an then i have a few ?.
question 1. how u going to stop gold sellers if free trade comes back.you know it bring back free trade that rune the game an it rune GE face the truth no one will have to use the GE if they dont want to.setting items at there prices.
will be unfair to tons of players.it make it harder for players to get items like god swords an party hats becuase anyone has them can set them at what they wont not what they sould be sold at.an other problem you bring back that we dont have now is players that will try an acct steal an then emety that players bank out an in away steel all they have.it problem that been almost gone sence free trade left.i useily dont post but i relly need you guys to know when i voted it was for old wilds not for free trade thank you.

When you sign on and see the Pvp/Bounty Worlds vs. the Rest of Runescape.........., what do you see?
The Pvp/Bounty Worlds are NEVER filled! All the other worlds will at times be FULL. Never do you see a Pvp/Bounty world filled.
That should be telling enough even for Jagex.

@SageScott, DUH, are you stupid?
It's obvious that most people don't PK.
Either they don't have the stats, the money or the skills to PK, it's incredibly stupid to compare regular worlds with bounty/pvp worlds.
It is a part of the game, do you think everyone plays runescape to PK? No, of course not.

I honestly am not sure, I have voted yes but after considering it for longer I am not really sure what I want.
I voted yes, because not so long ago 3/4 years, Runescape was a community who would help each other. I have 4 million, that I would like to help other people with but the maximum I can give them is 5k, and that means that I can't even give them a decent set of armour.
