This is to loony.... Loony i am a skiller who has made 99.9% of my cash from skills such as rc etc.. And i am in favor of the wilderness and free trade simply due to the fact that runescape was founded by free trade and the wilderness and i have to say the old wilderness was fun ( i never made cash from it because i sucked at pking but i still enjoyed the thrill and the rush of camping at hills and having the chance of looting what a player was wearing not some crappy game generated reward ( also when i wanted to buy an item, back then i had the chance to negotiate or if it was a friend i could pay them slowly or vise versa now it is pay or gtfo... And personally most of my real life friends who used to play and then quit because they took wildy off after i told them about it they said that if jagex brings it back they would play again... so yes people will come back and not jsut a few but many will come back maybe not as many as they left but a big chunk will come back and i know because everyone i told this to said they would play again.

By some of you guys' posts I can see that many of you are pretty "newgen" why would they remove some of the beasts that were in the wilderness back when old wildy was around? e.g. green dragons.. lmao, and then you guys complain that its going to make it harder to train in the wilderness and do clues and what not.. Who cares? thats what runescape use to be all about. Everything should not be so easy. Alot of people are rich now that shouldn't be and wouldn't have been prior to the removal of the free trade and old wildy so who cares if it brings back RWT etc blah blah.. IT NEVER LEFT. open your eyes, there will always be bots and that will be something that jagex will have to continue in its efforts of trumping it, however, we all know it's inevidable.. I personally quit for two years because of the removal of the wilderness as well as free trade. It was the only reason I played the game. Even now I don't even play as much except to do a little farming here and there and pk a little bit but even that gets old on a few crammed up worlds with the same crap loots.. atleast with the possibility of the wilderness coming back I would know that when I fought someone I'd know what I was fighting for and if what I was risking was worth it! Moreover, with the re-addition of the old wild I can guarantee runescape being one of my main hobbies again.. And I'm sure alot of people would vouch for me. It would bring back alot of challenge to the game that I always enjoyed.. I must say, pking was always my favorite e-pastime, along with mage staking leggggggo jamflex, BEST idea you guys have came up with in years.

loony when will you give up you suck at debating btw you dont even know what your talking about i can tell this just by looking at your skills. no melee or range rank oh wait mage ranks but its only 73.... second highest skill smithing 66 bah ha gg mate then just another 5 skills rank non even above 70 and this is why your arguements are null and void.

Hurray! One day before the referendum ends, with probably 1.2M votes, we can all see that the old wilderness and free trade are coming back.
I must say that I will be really enjoying this.
Especially free trade. Merchanting had become a maffia-like bussiness in the past, with people buying all stocks in order to make an item raise and then reselling them at a high price, with the majority of the victims getting a terrible loss of money.
A player with 2m cash will be able to make some great cash out of merching again almost just as well as wealthy players can. Merching had become something rotten, something disgusting.
But I'm excited about the wilderness as well. Getting scrolls in the wildy wasn't exciting anymore. And those people standing with dwarve cannons in the wildy to kill green dragons? That was just so awful I almost vomited.
I'll be happy to say that I can't take my void anymore but anyone that annoys me will be attacked.
And not having to 'EP' anymore in order to get a decent drop, losing the disappointment of getting dirt drops when killing someone wearing armor of over 1m...
The price of a dds being 45k just because it was lost so often in fights?
This will all be past time.
Thanks to you, Jagex! Just as I had respect for your decision about fighting RWT, I respect you for doing this, but without the disappointment.
I sincerely promise that I will report any bot I see to you.
