@no ko how does the fact that i trained the skills i needed 4 the explorers ring make any difference 2 my arguments
and anyway i am training melee on moss giants
so i dont see how u have a point
And personally most of my real life friends who used to play and then quit because they took wildy off after i told them about it they said that if jagex brings it back they would play again... so yes people will come back and not jsut a few but many will come back maybe not as many as they left but a big chunk will come back and i know because everyone i told this to said they would play again.

Lets say u asked about 30 people, does that mean what they say is what the public wants, no, it doesnt, it only says what 30 people wants. A real survey covers a few thousand people and it might not be entirely accurate

By some of you guys' posts I can see that many of you are pretty "newgen" why would they remove some of the beasts that were in the wilderness back when old wildy was around? e.g. green dragons.. lmao, and then you guys complain that its going to make it harder to train in the wilderness and do clues and what not.. Who cares? thats what runescape use to be all about. Everything should not be so easy. Alot of people are rich now that shouldn't be and wouldn't have been prior to the removal of the free trade and old wildy so who cares if it brings back RWT etc blah blah.. IT NEVER LEFT. open your eyes, there will always be bots and that will be something that jagex will have to continue in its efforts of trumping it, however, we all know it's inevidable.. I personally quit for two years because of the removal of the wilderness as well as free trade. It was the only reason I played the game. Even now I don't even play as much except to do a little farming here and there and pk a little bit but even that gets old on a few crammed up worlds with the same crap loots.. atleast with the possibility of the wilderness coming back I would know that when I fought someone I'd know what I was fighting for and if what I was risking was worth it! Moreover, with the re-addition of the old wild I can guarantee runescape being one of my main hobbies again.. And I'm sure alot of people would vouch for me. It would bring back alot of challenge to the game that I always enjoyed..

2 summarise ur argument:I found i fun and chaallenging (opinionated), there will always be rwt and bots so u may as wellmake it easy 4 them (possibly you are one of them), and i think some poeple would come back 2 the game.
And nothing about how free trade will destroy the ge and runescape economy

Shut up. I have seen you throughout this forum thread dissing and shooting down others' arguments, with no proper counter arguments to their statements. If you are going to tell somebody they are wrong, please have a valid reason. If not, shut up and get lost. I hope this update forces people like you to leave the game. I don't mind what happens with this referendum either way, but if the return causes people like yourself to leave RuneScape, then so be it. I'm glad it happens. Good riddance to the lot of you.

It's time to end communism in Runescape, everyone PLEASE vote "Yes" to free trade and the old wilderness. It's time to bring back choice, risk, and fun. I'm sick of the metaphorical straight jacket that Jagex has forced around their ten year-old players' bodies. A game does not need buyer protection, PvPer protection, or any other form of restriction that real life may or may not require. I personally look forward to punishing the communist badkids that voted "No" to free trade and the old wilderness out of fear of whatever exaggerated claim they could throw out. These are people who have not witnessed both sides of the coin, having joined the game recently. No longer, I hope, will pking, staking, etc, be simply nostalgia soaked memories. Progress is beautiful.

lots of people who have experienced free trade and old wildy didnt like it
stop repeating that tired old argument in the hope that itll come true
and how are we "communists". If we r communists then u r all barbarians, since thats basically what u want, strong going around killing weak with nothing stopping them. Not exactly the best welcome 4 a new player
and i dont know about u but i like a game where it actually has rules a bit more realistic than other more simplistic games like the law of supply and demand. This will quite obviously exploited if free trade comes back and i dont know aout u but i liked the game when the economy hadnt been destroyed

I think bringing back free trade is nice but I don't like the old wildy cause anyone can kill you. I personally don't want to go to clan wars or anywhere in the wildy with such a risk. If they are gonna do this the least they could do is put a bank at clan wars. I think the pvp worlds are cool but I don't want the wildy to be like that all the time. :|
