is jagex getting rid of amount caps along with price caps on the grand exchange? I'm tired of wanting to buy a large quantity of supplies and it takes a week or longer to get all of the supplies (it is bs).

When I made this post there were 928,126 votes on the referendum and 10% are not yes. that means 92,812.6 votes are not yes. and 835,313 are yes to match yes the no/ don't mind would have to gain 742,501 votes before the 14th. Which at this rate is virtually impossible. So get on with the changes.

Wrong thread :P (FAIL)

LOL it's rather sad for the new players that are from 09-10 they are saying no because they dont know how fun it was back then. Also Jagex will not lose players they will regain old players.. So it's obviously soon passing don't complain.

Were you talking about me? If so, I did play when they had the Old Trade/Wildy. Just because I don't have a forum picture, doesn't mean I'm a new player. :)
Yeah, it is probably going to come back so I don't mind.

This vote has been rigged from the get go. First, the 2 proposals should have been separate issues. Second, everyone I talked to and all my friends friends have voted no except one. I don't see how it is possible that there were that many yes votes in 24 hours. As far as I am concerned Jagex planned this ahead of time and rigged the vote. I also believe that if there was a REAL vote and the issues were voted on separately, there would be a lot different outcome.

I am an old school player, I have played runescape since the beginning of 2003 and have had some really good times on runescape. When they changed the wild and trading I quit. Many of my friends quit, and we all checked out different games.
Two days ago I was told about this petition from an Email from an old friend who I only knew in runescape. Not only are we talking again after 3 years but I am considering coming back to runescape because I will be free to do as I did when I started the game.
The market was fine back then with free trade and it made the game more interesting. I feel that most people not in favor of the vote are due to a few different things.
Clues are one thing, along with the minigames in the wild.
However this is clearly a mask for junk hoarders who have tried to "Defeat" the trade limits by creating so much junk in the game that it actually became a commodity to others. How did this not create people abusing systems with autoers?
The system will never be perfect, I'm hoping that runescape goes back to how it used to be. I haven't played in awhile but am considering membership again. I will cast my final decision on 1/14/11 when the poll closes.
-- Sorry people, if luring is your only defense against the revision then I guess you should have read the rules. The world is not always roses. --

Perhaps its time to dust off that old runescape refrence guide I was working on. I'm sure I have it on a flash drive somewhere.

My two cents:
I voted No to this poll. I have been an active player since 2003. I find it quite entertaining and diverse.
I believe the votes should have been separate first of all; I realize they are linked, but they are two different issues.
If Jagex really wants a fair shake at this, then a detailed poll should be done.
I think there is an issue with having multiple accounts all able to vote; this unfairly tips the balance. I think there needs to be restrictions for a true count.
I have never agreed with pk'ing, though I realize there are many who enjoy it. However, there must be a different avenue than bringing back a flawed system; a highly regulated minigame or something. Besides the psychological aspect, there is also the real Human reason this system was changed=does this no longer matter??
The g.e. has been awesome... wading through fally w2 was a nightmare. Yes, there are merch clans now, but the huge swings in price from just one moment to the next were unfair.
I do agree that it would be nice to trade higher amounts with my good friends, but I am willing to work around this to keep rwt down. People matter.
