Wildy/Free Trade referendum...

With these things already in place, they give structure to trading and Pk'ing. But now you have decided to put it back to what it use to be. I did like it, as i didn't abuse the system, but due to RWT and what-not it got out of control.
"The good old days" were a good experience, how-ever, that should stay in the past. What was in the past should stay in the past.
Ive given good thought about it and I would like it to stay this way and change my vote to "No".

I am a player who has played since 2004. I loved the feel of Free Trade and the old way of merching and how you could travel all over RuneScape to sell items for a higher price than you bought them for. I miss how the Seers' Village bank used to be at peak times, always crowded, now you are lucky to have 10 people in it at any given time. I miss the thrill and the sense of danger when entering the Wilderness, either to Runecraft, (by the abyss) or then just wander around for fun with friends. I miss Law running on Entrana, a system that worked very well, and wasn't abused and died with Free Trade (I wish I had 54 runecrafting at the time! Lol I was one of the nooby moneymakers, hehe not one of the guys making the nats
). I miss all these elements of the game. I would like these things and many more to return to RuneScape, as this was the first RuneScape I ever knew. But to be honest I can't see what Jagex will gain from bringing them back. There have been almost 1 million votes placed now on this Referendum. 7% of those votes disagree with this all. Even if half of those players quit, 35,000 players will quit RuneScape because of this update. (I doubt that many will quit, for many threatening to quit, it is all just talk). I know this is an attempt to revive RuneScape and bring back many of the community. But I have several friends who quit when the Wilderness and Free Trade were removed. To be honest, they have moved on. I can't see them coming back to RuneScape, even if these elements of the game returned. If the majority of players did not return, then RuneScape could come out worse, losing up to 70,000 players! (maybe more, if the people who voted Yes regret doing so!) I do want these things to come back to RuneScape, but I don't think it will bring back the old Community.
