As for a particular raid environment, I think we need to use iconic runescape locations, such as the world gate, battle of lumbridge could open new orange portals to a new type of raid. When released, players would only know where a raid is located and nothing else to make it that much more exciting when entering and seeing the story of it unfold. I think some bosses will have to force you to berserk with melee otherwise they become enraged and deal 2x the damage that berserk would have you take. These sorts of things make use of all combat styles uniquely during raids and keep it fun.

Areas of raid interest definitely need to be:

- Trolls (low-mid level)
- Goblins (mid level)
- Zamorak minions doing some kind of ritual (mid-high level)
- Mahjarret/dragonkin (very high level)

Also, maybe some raids are so dangerous you need the help of the white knights to fight and during the raid you must try to protect them as much as possible because if too many of the knights die then the fight becomes harder later on as the big instakill attacks will be used on you instead of the white knights if they all are to die. This would be similar to World Event 2 where you had to protect your convoys from attack and attack enemies in order to win the event, similar in how you would need to win the raid and defeat the boss by using these friendly npc's to your advantage.

How about something like, there is a scenario of which a cinematic takes place, and within this cinematic you see peasants etc running out of a city, maybe the varrock city in the quest dimension of disaster, if it were that location, maybe see the public fleeing from the dimensions entrance, eventually you manage to speak to someone, and they say about this humongous monster and its minions, and you have to go in that alternate dimension and hunt the bosses minions and then him down to save the alternate varrock. within killing this boss, you gain the opportunity for a boss pet. It also drops a map for the next raid boss, and is usable when you activate it.

What format are you accepting for the design? Will you take an attachment as a word document for example?

Absolutely. Word Docs are fine!

I would like to see raids held in the Mort Myre swamp. There would be tunnels leading under the swamp to allow easy travel. The air would fill with poison above ground and the skies would turn dark red with the heat from the volcano birthed from the womb of mother Gielinor! As you entered the first tunnel, rocks would fall from the ceiling and spikes rise from the floor as you duck and tumble your way through! Alas, if you survived, you would find your way to a giant dirt mound centered in your path.

With great hesitation, you proceed to the dirt mound and reach for a small pebble you see placed upon the top. Just as you fingers grasp it, the Koala boss shakes the dirt from his back and lets out a mighty roar! You stumble and reach the side of the tunnel, and notice a stack of coconuts bathing in the sunlight from a crevice. You dig your fingers into the crust of the shell and hurl them at the Koala boss with the power of a Dagannoth King!

The Kola boss sinks his weathered fangs deep into the dupe and explodes in a furry cluster! Your vision blurs and suddenly you appear inside the Koala boss! The journey continues...
Road to 5.4!

I had the idea of an ancient, long lost elven battleground. Where years ago, a great battle took place amongst the elves in a trans dimensional world created by the elves called The Ark. During this great battle, a powerful elven mage named Azarath, cast a curse on the land and the people who took refuge there became lost in their own minds and time. The mage then sealed himself in the Halls of Harmonies, An elven home base that was used to convene the most powerful mages from across the world in a time of great hardship. The Ark and all of it's magical power was controlled by the energy generated from the Hall of Harmonie's empowered crystals. Azarath has one objective, to close the portal, Leading to The Ark.

You start your great quest in the forests of Tirannwn. Where you see and elven soldier, hunched over at the foot of a great crystal tree, lifeless. After looking around you see the remnants of a large elven portal and instructions on how to reactivate it. As a team, you will all have a job in rebuilding this artifact of war. Once you activate the rebuilding process, battle-worn elves will spawn in an attempt to stop you opening the portal. They are being mind controlled by the Elven Mage Azarath. Once you succeed you will enter the realm of The Ark. The environment is war torn and shaken by the power emanating from the Hall of Harmonies. Along the way, you will encounter puzzles, riddles, and combat area's, where team work will be vital to your success of the raid.

Once you reach the Hall of Harmonies, make sure you're ready for an epic battle. The elven mage will realize you have entered the room and the battle will begin. Located around the halls are power crystals which need to be activated at certain times throughout the fight. Activating each one will offer buffs to your teams damage to the boss. Once the fight is over, rewards can be collected from the remains of Azarath as he lies dead in the Hall of Harmonies.

i believe a "RAID" should be 50% environment and 50% surprises

as in surprises and environment
-should never be the same when doing 2nd or 3rd etc times. Should be 30 different changes+ and will never be in a fixed order.
-should next be a fixed amount of tankers, provokers, dpsers. randomized so players must hybrid.
-the environment should be ever-changing, so it will also be incorporated into the fight and not just the "boss" itself. (meaning floor can have constant change like "stomp" dropping rocks etc)
-have many phases but no fixed rotation on the phases, and also a "regeneration phase" meaning it will heal if certain criteria's aren't met.
-environment should also have a sort of "ROTS" mechanic where it will do a "teamsplit" phase (like Vorago) where half will be on one side and the other half on the other, and a wall will fall down, the only way to be lifted is by killing both sides same time, or pulling lever etc same time) this is open for many types of ideas.

-and lastly for drops, "ROTS mechanic" of chest looting, combined with vorago mechanics of phases, with a living rock patriarch ability to gather the corpse for some hefty "cosmetic" add-on.

- pet can be made so after boss fight timer will start and a player has a chance to escape with the loots obtained, or go deeper in which stops the timer and begins a mini raid where the goal is obtaining the pet at the end, but requires a combined set of "skills" to reach the end of the path, to make this even more challenging. Also if they decide to go deeper, they agree in a extremely risk filled venture because upon death, only 3 items will be kept, and others will be lost permanently. But if successful, a one of a kind pet so rare no 1 else might have "unless they are brave.

I would like to see a raid in a jungle environment. The raid boss for this area could be a large serpent/snake like creature that hopes from tree to tree only coming down for a short time to attack you. As for the environment it would be a dense jungle with many trees, bushes, and vines to block you in and slow you from advancing. To get around/get to new parts of the jungle you would need to use firemaking and woodcutting. You could also grow vines to block the Serpent's path which would use your farming skills. Part way into the fight you would need to go to an upper level to corner the Serpent which would bring you to the top of the trees. Up there you would jump from treetop to treetop utilizing your agility level while fighting off the Serpent with either range or mage to hit it from a distant. If you fall off the treetops you land on the ground taking a good amount of fall damage.

I like the idea of fighting a boss in a lush and natural environment that utilizes skills aside from combat to navigate.
