I don't understand why you can be against the wild. and the way kills worked.
are you upset because clues will be harder again? or certain monsters you liked to train against will be harder again? or one of the skills trainable in wild will be too dangerous now?
the reason why the wild and FT need to come back is that Jagex's solution was PVP worlds and the GE and market values. the problem with these solutions is that they both involved a HIGHLY manipulable algorythm for obtaining wealth.
with the grand exchange, merch clans have been able to manipulate the algorythm to effectively raise the prices of items by simply buying them out, then selling them when they peak and crashing the items value, leaving hundreds of players of players that they tricked into helping them raise the value of these items with millions of gp loss in item values.
then there's the issue of junk values. alot of the items used for junk trading would never of had the value they do if it was not for the GE. because it creates a minimum price for certain items and also because there are items that very few people try to buy on the GE, but absolutely NO ONE SELLS on the GE, junk value was created. junk allowed people to train and use the obtained items as junk value, or **** gold in a way, and trade up for items, effectively raising market values.
then with PvP worlds comes 76ks. you log in, raising your ep, then you get someone to 76k with, and even after they reduced it, the amount of wealth you can obtain in a short period of time is rediculous.
both of these algorythms have caused massive inflation in the market, and because the GE controls the values of items, and players could do nothing to lower these costs through player to player trading, change needs to come. and reversion is the simplest way to do that.
this is more than just about bringing these things back because we want them. they can detect cheaters better now, and people are still asking, 3 years later.
