For all the people that think that free trade is gong to bring back supply and demand: you're wrong.
In fact, it would destroy supply and demand.
The G.E. is programmed to adjust prices on the demand for the items.
When demand>supply the prices rise, and when demand<supply the prices drop.
That's called demand and supply.
If you call saying a price for an item supply and demand, then you are not even old enough to play this game...
The RuneScape economy is good now.
The only thing that has to change is a rule to ban all merchers.
Oh, and maybe an option for free trade with players which are longer than 3 months in your friends list or so.

i have no idea why people buy money, but they do and thats my point, people always want an even shorter way and buying money is that option... rwt is always happening.. period
a tru pro trust me i lost firends in the old days because iwanted to sell mith bars for 1k and they thought they where worth less and that i was trying to rip them off people get mad if they think your ripping them off the g.e eliminates that and people still merch fine in the g.e they just dont stand out so much.
i think however the g.e should have an option where you can pay more than its valueand when you go to sell the itme it says this item is valued at 100k but someone is offering 120k
@Arch,
I think it was a bit of both... Removing Wildy and trade-limits, removed some bots I guess. But it made it possible for Jagex to find and destroy more bots. And still they are destroying more bots.

**'s unfair that you can buy money etc on sites. Play fair, or don't bother playing....
True-
Everything in this game can be associated with things in real life, expect for attacking/killing of NPCs and the multiple methods of aquiring money aka "goldpieces".
