Wilderness and Free Trade Vote

i would love for the wilderness and free trade to come back. i quit runescape for about 9 months when free trade went and so did a lot of my friends.im sure that lots more people will play runescape again and it will be much more better than it is now!!!

The way i see it, by implementing these updates it will cause many players to return from their hiatus, but also may cause just as many people to quit. Lets say that runescape has 100,000 people joined (i could find the exact number but this is just an example) Lets say that of the 10% who say no, 7% actually quit because of it. Thats 7,000 people. Now, ther couldnt have been TOO many people quit when free trade and wildy went away, im assuming its at the most 25%. Runescape had been building up still, so lets say that there were 80,000. Thats 20,000 people who quit. Now take into account the people who just plain quit, the people who think runescape is a "kids game", the ones who forgot all of their account info, or the people who (might) have passed on in some sort of tragedy. My guess is that would cut down by at least 50%, so thats 10,000 people. That means that the net gain is almost the same, and that all youve done is added 3000 players and made 3000 very unhappy.
Just a thought.

That is some terrible analysis.. You cannot just make up percentages... You like the rest of us have absolutely no idea the % of people that quit. I admire the attempt but really?
Also, It not just about the people who quit. Its about consumer satisfaction. Consumers being the people who do and DONT pay for the game.
You also have no idea of the knock on effects eg. how many non members did not become members as a result of a worse game... etc..
There are so many variables, your kind of analysis is totally flawed and useless. (Sorry
All we know is90% of the people who have voted in this poll think the wildy should come back. And thats a majority, wheather jagex think it a big enough majority from the numbers of people who voted is entirely up to them.
