I really just hope people stop using scamming as a complaint because like I said at least 20 times so far, there is a HUGE FLASHING RED EXCLAMATION POINT when someone changes their offer and now a wilderness wall and a BIG WARNING SIGN when you go to enter. You'd have to either be 5 years old or extremely careless to fall for a scam nowadays.

@Nicki I never pked and that 500k thats an exageration in my time of dec 04 and 05 there was a maximum of around 200k players and then after they stopped wilderness and RWT players revolted and left but soon came quickly back to the news of PvP and BH returning i remember at points in time when there were 40k players online and this has steadily increased back to what it really was (excluding the bots).
I never ever Pked i hated it with a passion as i could never get it right i did try and there are those who are amazingly talented at it, in a sense it is a skill itself.
But all Jagex are saying is that "old wilderness will return" this might mean destruction of the volcano and CW but more importantly they do not say how they will implement a new PKing system, it could be the old one where you keep 3 drops or it could be this one where you loose everything and you have to build up EP and so on and rewards are based on EP. they have not stated how it would be.
I would also like to let you know that even in old runescape there were always specific worlds where there would be huge numbers of Pkers and other worlds would "normally" be safe depending on how nice the players were.
I have been playing since Dec 04 and on many many accounts and have seen how the game has developed and hated all of these new improvements and always thought why not just go ahead and create RS3 but as time has gone by i have learned to live with all the improvements even though i hate them with a pure passion.

I think the runescape community declined after the removal of wildy and free trade, and then the introduction of the GE. So it coming back is a great thing in my opinion, and i also agree, i and all the other players managed to go about our business in the wilderness before, it was just harder than it was now, and it should be hard, you dont get something for nothing. The wilderness is meant to be dangerous, but for the most part i can take a leisurely stroll there**** will make it dangerous again, and it will give that edge of anticipation and fear when you enter it.
As for bots and rwt im sure jagex can cope with it, they said they can and im going to believe them.

Well Pinky, you didn't really counter my points, but about 500k. That's really not an exaggeration. At its peak, Runescape had close to, if not more, than that.

And the safe worlds, I knew that already so I don't know why that was important to tell me.

"Will the silence be deafening?"
Does this mean that anybody that does not vote would be considered a "no" vote--- 1-2 million of these on Jan 14th would really changes the percentages don't you think?

Look at it the other side**** had 500k+ players a day.
Now 120k. What u think that like 6000 players say no. Or that 500K+ players say yes? Ur oppinions doesnt matter dont try it.
The old players should be loved to get old wildy back. Some guys will do a murder for it realy im not kidding.
U all say no? Why u never played in old wildy / free trading.

Luring = Be smart enough for not falling into it.
Scamming= Look at second screen trade! god dammit.
Rwt= Jagex is good enough to handle them.
I dont think u guys pretty much effect on the poll. The refunderum poll got 660k vote's. 90% yes. Do u realy think that they wont getting it back.
100k + more players ( members ) like 5$ a month is 500.000$ a month more for them. U know that right? even more. But now i'm speeking of like 300k players are coming back!.
So thats 1.5mill!. Believe me they now what they are doing. And it would be stupid to just say 'rick rold'. If they do that. 10k + players quit cus jagex shoulda acct like a child'stupid'.
Afcore's cus im a players from 2002 i say yes!. And i'm speeking of all players of 2002+2007 and all my ex members / friends that quited! and believe me , Clans , wildy everything is dead!. Why? Guys putted 100mills on accounts , then they hear there isnt a free trade anymore?.
Well gf.. 100m i quit. And that happend to a lot off players. Like me , But then they getting Bounty hunter. With penalty that was fun to pk!. Then something stupid. Like destroy the pkin econemy cus some noobs lost there whips! ( big deal) u removed bh. And brought pvp. Ok good, random drops 50m for a dfullhelm , Barrows sets random! Good , Then? U get pvp / bh . With fail drops+ 5M max drop. And some items u not able to get at -400m dp.
Well yeh sorry for my bad english ( Belgium (l)) ;D

I truely believe this is the best thing to do. Their were alot of players who did quit after wildy & staking was removed. Such a shame for all the partyhats that were alched due to their rage. And they were right to rage imo. This is an awesome idea to bring it back like in the good old days + with some extra's which are still useful. (Grand exchange, assistingsystem, etc.) Runescape should make this possible.

Mod Mark H did say that if you do not want this do not vote, but i am lead to believe this is just a ploy to get us not to vote and them have their way.
As it was revealed earlier this month Mod Mark (other guy, more main) revealed that the votes did not count and they did not care about them and they were there to just show that players had some sort of involvement as they were going to go ahead with it anyway.
I do not know whether he revealed this as spite towards Jagex for doing something like that or it was an accident.
