I love the old wildy and the no trade limit as I have been playing since 2004 on this account, and 2002 on my account that got hacked. I would always dream that this would come back...but now that its here, I am trying to stop it. As great as old rs would be, there would be no way to stop scammers, hackers, botters, cheaters of all kinds, from getting rich. that is what the whole reason for the trade limit was!! I like the fair place that rs has become and would hate to see it spoiled. honestly its your decision in the end to make it the way you want it and i would be happy either way...but this vote may very well bring about the RuneScape Apocalypse. Even the Grand Exchange, the one thing that revolutionized the RuneScape economy, will crash, and set RuneScape back years of hard work put into it. Just go to any world at the Grand Exchange and see what it's doing to the other players. There is already evil among us and people entering usernames that never agreed to it...even creating new accounts just to vote...if just the voting has brought about this much in us, I would hate to imagine what would happen if this update went through.
Ultimately it is your decision, and i would recommend making the voting ballot have to enter the pass*word for the account voting and have at least been a member of RuneScape for at least 2 years so they know what the old wildy was, and restarting votes...but I would hate for people to resort to old methods instead of making an honest living, losing some, and living through your mistakes.
EDIT: And no matter what, do not listen to the threats of people quitting, many true RuneScape players like me will not quit no matter what, it is a tough decision though.
