Oh, Fate, Now I understand. Because an immature troll who can't make a single post without calling those he disagrees with every name in his limited vocabulary claims not to have voted multiple times then that means **body else did. I see. Well Mr. Hand a couple of posts below you would appear to disprove your thesis, as would many others on this thread who admitted doing the same thing. But I see you continue to use the phrase "90% of people" when posting. My, how surprising that someone of your intellectual prowess can't seem to figure out the difference between 90% of votes and 90% of people when the evidence is right before your eyes.
Not everything that goes on your head is a hat genius, and if you insist I'll make another post to correct your many other mistakes, so I'd suggest that you refrain from casting aspersions on everyone else's intellect. And if you can't seem to make a single post that doesn't repeatedly insult everyone else, maybe you should decide not to post on the forums anymore. Or maybe someone else will need to make that decision for you.

Okay, maybe you skipped a few points while you were reading, that is okay, you're obviously stupid. So what I'm trying to say is that everyone has voted smarter than you and number's don't lie. So please take your butthurting somewhere else, possibly go back to fourchan or something, no one cares about "anon's" who think posting gore and cp makes them badass when in reality anyone who has any muscle on them could make all of fourchan cry just by breaking their glasses or their precious computers...
but back to ******** on you....
.... Where do I start? If you voted in favor of no then you played runescape in a manner that is... sub-par, What i mean by that is that you probably didn't take risks because you probably lack a spinal cord. Maybe you don't, and maybe you understand what it is like to get red-bared then spec someone for a 34-36 and pk a whip? but you probably don't, or maybe you know what it's like to win a 100m stake... but you probably don't. See once upon a time, runescape wasn't a measure of time spent, but how you spent your time on runescape... Sorry that I wanna be able to play runescape again. I promise you can still spend your time cutting trees and making all the NPC's happy, but can i have my wilderness and staking back?
dude.. stop being such an idiot and let runescape come back to life... people who quit WANT to play again but it's children like you who like to feel accomplished for repetitive clicking that are trying to stop this..
It's OKAY! YOU CAN STILL GET ALL YOUR RARES BACK FROM Diango!

For the younger players,
Clues- They will still be possible as before the wildy update I have done many of them but this is the risk you take with a level 3 clue for a great reward :)
People worried about being scammed-prices- Be smart about how you purchase an item and dont be stupid about stuff and I also believe that the fun of the game was how the prices would always change. If a price of an item goes up just practice that skill enough to where you are able to make the item yourself. That was one of the fun parts of the game.
People worried about unlimited trade or the auto bots- Just file a complaint on them , Jagex will look into their account and find them, Also the software has updated so much that it is almost impossible to have one. Also dont you ever feel genrous and just wanna help someone out and give them some money when they just lost all their armor and weapons in a fight, or give a friend a full set of rune so they can help you go fight monsters or what not
People worried about the wild- If your worried about dieing, Dont go in it!!! The wild is about finding great riches but sometimes you might lose them as well.
I started my acount in 2003 and even though my charcater isnt that high or I don't have a 99 or something that is because when the update came I lost the fun in the game(also because I do other things besides playing the game lol) for those older players you know how fun the wild and dueling and staking and all that was and for you younger players I hope that you get to find out
PS sorry for all the incoreect grammar usagea and all that good stuff, its christmas break from college and I dont have time to proofread :)

I have many things to say to this, except i'll keep it at a low
well when i started playing runescape, the wilderness was very dangerous and alot of people didn't like to go in, the best thing is if you catch someone with alot of valuables in the wild and everyone started making lower level accounts, and only raising stats they needed (pures) , they used to have so much fun ,and they had alot of fun, except there was the bots which ruined the game alot ,i mean the bots where always fun to hit when they where training on Green-Dragons , or killing other players and getting skulled, then 3 Minutes later a player would come out with barrage, and just demolish them until they lost all there items. I remember people saying don't go into wildy or you lose your stuff, and they wanted it gone for a while.
The other good thing about this Update will be that the party-room will be more exciting and that you will have more of a chance of getting a better item, which is fantastic for players with not alot of money, haha (myself) :O
The best thing about free trade is that, you don't have to buy the item for it's Current-price, you can buy it for more or less, which is very good when you don't have the right amount of money, and someone is selling something cheap.
The best thing about Runescape for a while was staking, and everyone loved to stake, rares, cash and other valuables and they used to make alot of money, the worse thing was that people would be scammed not knowing a players level, OR them switching No melee(ON), and this would result in them losing there valuables, All up i think it's a very good update that should be taken in by all the Runescape Players that have played over there years, i myself am very excited to see this update ,And hope this comes back.
I would also like to say, that All the stuff i just wrote, is from 2003-2006, and i can't really remember it to clearly and i hope you enjoyed my story on PKing,Staking,Partyroom and Free trade,
Thankyou

Lol it was a good post but I don't really see the point he's getting at.. unless he's just doing it to call Fate dumb.
Honestly the fact that it was "90% of votes cast" not "90% of people" doesn't make that much of a difference. Sure people could have voted yes on multiple accounts but others could have easily done the same to vote no. So it's basically as fair as any online vote is going to get without them asking for your S.S. number and two other forms of identification...

I voted YES, but:
I must say that the thing more amazing about the Old wilderness wasn't only the PVP. It was trying to get better rewards at higher risk (in PVP or not).
In that matter i must recall that it was the place of:
- 7 Amadamantite rocks
- 2 Runite rocks
- Green and Red dragons
- Coal mines without swamps of players
- High level treasure trails
- Walking to King black dragon lair
- Place to do challenging and risked PVP
What do i mean about all this?
It isn't enough to put back the wilderness, you must also give the rewards of been there back. To make it worthwhile risk on it.

About people getting scammed in the wilderness and how people are like, "you know theres a person in level 40 wildy theres a man that gives free stuff worth a lot of money follow me and ill show you", then they kill them for there items. That happened a lot from the beginning of Runescape through 2007, but it's as simple as not going out there with your Armour and best weapons when you know the wilderness is a dangerous place. But, maybe when they bring the wilderness back they can put up a danger sign that automatically warms people about how much there staking in money or in items. And i'm even someone that has been scammed a few times and lost a lot of money and rares, on my other accounts. But, it's as simple as DON'T GO INTO THE WILDERNESS WHEN YOU KNOW IT'S DANGEROUS :P ...

1. I think its fair to say it's not the wilderness's fault that people died from scammers. once jagex added the update for the wall and comment that says you can die and lose all your stuff was enough. If you still go out there, its your choice and for quest and scrolls just make worlds without deadly wild so they can have fun run around out there and stuff and explore.
2. For the bot's just try to make a way to get more people to report like other people have said jagex has come along way against bot's/macros.
3. Now as for the free trade limit I think it should go back to the old ways just keep some of the changes like the red bar when something is removed and like the ge has the mid price of an item have that showing in the trade window it will be harder because prices will inc. and dec. alot just use the info from the ge to keep up on prices.
4. For people who say no to the changes, why? because more bot's will come? it will make clue scrolls and quest in wild harder? im sure jagex has thought of all that, why try to take away something that 90% of the people want. Jagex will find a way to make it better and safer for you people who quest and do clues scrolls. Its to bring back fun to the game, like the constitution update i didnt like it but it made the game fun for new people so they were not always hitting 0's.
Thank You =] hope u guys like reading it Craig G

I knew the old Wilderness, and didn't really like it; just got killed a lot. As it was, the only way to go in was with a large clan. I get enough company and strife in the real world and like to do a bit of solo dragon slaying and revenant dodging for relaxation.
I can see which way the vote has gone, but please keep some worlds with the wilderness as it is and then people can vote with their feet. (In fact they already have, the PK worlds are used much less than the others).
Free trading would be very good if Jagex can sort out the criminals. It would be nice to sell all those Axeman's Follies and javelins; and the party room might become attractive again.
I'm afraid I also liked to rob graves in the old days. Perhaps the whole issue of blessing them deserves a reappraisal.
