HellsMalice, if i was 12 years old and started playing in 2003, that would make me about 5? I must have been one smart cookie to have been playing games at that age.
People are thinking of themselves and not what will happen to the g.e/ the other things that are made.

Hi!
Current name: TzTok-Jayke
Name when created: Chajak
Dear Jagex,
As of now, i am an F2p, ive been playing RS for a good 6-7 years, not under this user though...all my others have been hacked but owell, you live and you learn. Anyway, regarding the Free Trade-Old Wildy thing thats going on...I voted yes on them, though i had views different from what you all did, not that i find much wrong with what your doing, though RWT and scamming will come back in boat loads...Anyway, what you could have done was this
For trading and GE
Kept Min and Max prices, but updated regular trade interface, like if you put something up and offer it for free you get something along the lines of when you destroy a holiday item, a thing to check Yes i want to give away for free, or No i would not like to give it away for free, to give people a minute to make sure they are making the right decision. Something like that i wouldnt mind
And about Old Wildy
I could care less, i dont go out into it anyway O_o
Thanks for reading my ramblings!

What I would like to know is why they tried to "Fix" Runescape and make it more friendly to a younger age group if they used to restrict the age limit to 13 in account creation. If you are the proper age to play and you get scammed or lured or something like that then grow a pair and learn from your mistake it's really not that hard. Heck I once accidentally traded like 1m for an inventory of lobsters cause it was like 3 am and I was like WOOT free lobsters. Did i cry and ask for possibly the worst update in mmo history (removal of wild and free trade) no I learned to pay attention to what was going on and not to make trades at 3am. It's all a matter of how dumb you are and stop crying about bots or other exploits, as long as games are around exploits are sure to be there there is no way to be 100% free of all of them so just get used to it as most of us have. Have some faith in the Jagex staff that they will try to do their best to restore the game and keep exploitation to a minimum.
EVERYBODY JUST GROW A PAIR AND HIT YES

(I just have a lot to say on this)
If you're going to say no to this, it shouldn't be because you've gotten use to the way things are now, that's just being lazy. It should be because all the old tricks from before may return, you can't control people, most of the wrong doings are still going on now.
Now that I got all that out here's my stance on the matter.
As I said earlier I was around before when it was in play. I remember the old "armor trimming" scam, people camping the abyss and chaos alter.
I am all for free trade returning, if I want to give my friend an amulet of fury, that's my choice. I'd like to give my friend 5m to help him buy some good gear for when we take something down. I mean, being in a group(especially with your rl friends) you wanna make sure everyone has the best gear they can. I don't think you should get rid of the top and bottom price though, just so we know around what area to sell at, so we can charge a little above or below that, that would be good. Or in the trade window stil have the averege price show so we know around how much seems fair(if we don't know how much it usually goes for).
The wilderness becoming full PvP again, however, I'm not to thrilled about. Even taking the quest out of there, there's still green dragons, the shoutcut to Bork, the mage arena. Now were you to make safe wilderness worlds, where people can still essence run with dealing with abyss campers, then that would be good to and I'd support that. But, even so, with the wild borders, people tricking others to the wild and PKing them, that been downsized.
I really want free trade back and if it means the wild to, then that's cool, I could make suggest to make it better and still be able to give my friend my D claws and him put a banana in the trade window, just to be funny.

killer, i'm sorry that i'm being so selfish, but apparently so are 90% of people who care about the future of this game. So the player's are selfish because they are acting on an opportunity to right a travesty that jagex unleashed on it's player's to combat it's own legal charges? What are you an idiot? OMG rwt is so bad... there is 0 competition for resources today and what has it done? Driven prices to all time lows? I can't imagine what it will do to the rs economy... rescue player's from monotony? make it so there it something profitable other than pretending you're a bot? look i can click on a tree and make money while i browse the internet... whoop te doo. look at me I can write a program that is as smart as you are... whoop te doo.
We must defend the integrity of doing repetitive tasks!!!!!!!! There is no way RWT can be allowed again!!!!!!!!!

As a loyal player since 2001 I think that bringing back the no trade limit and wildy is the best thing that could happen for Runescape.
I have longed for those days to come back where you could give or receive high priced gifts from friends. I think it is a great idea. Everyone must vote yes on this!
About real world trading: I really don't know if this will occur again, but I'm sure someone will end up doing it. In-fact, it has been happening anyways even with the trade limit with sites like gold4rs. I hope they get shut down btw ;)
RWT has never stopped by the trade limit. I know some people IRL that have real world traded in recent months! Basically, the trade limit just gives people more creative ways to RWT.
About the Wildy: As a new player on RS many years ago I learned quickly to stay out of the wilderness! I always got owned =/ But it would be a very fun thing for players who used to basically live in the wildy killing for rares. Also, for new players they can experience why people like me fell in love with Runescape. The wildy would be a great thing to come back! I digress.
Now, if the old graphics came back then I would probably die of joy. Seriously. The primitive look of old RS was the best! I'd pick old Runescape over WoW any day.
So, I vote YES 100% on this and the referendum. Hopefully it will be in effect after New Years? I hope so :)
Peace out Runescape people!

I voted yes, although I don't see why you removed it all to begin with....Sure, there were alot of bots. But man, there still are...There probably always will be. There is RWT with the trade limit via junk trades. It might not be as "Easy" as free trade, but it still happens. And Jagex, I think that you, will your millions of dollars and everything, can figure out a way to track things such as botting and RWT. The people that are saying no it seems to be due to more of the Wilderness issue, as people think that tey'll get pked when working in the wilderness...The activities will be relocated, as they have stated. Its not like you'll get gang-attacked by a clan when you're going into clan wars. Jesus.

Honestly I do not see a whole lot that is different between when old runescape existed and now by means of players. Yes there are still those who try to exploit the system and find ways to make more money by cheating but really the community of runescape has been lagging. What I mean is this, once the wild and free trade was removed hundreds of thousands of runescape players quit.
What I believe jagex is trying to do here is bring back revenues and make runescape have an even bigger player base. In comparison to WoW runescape falls far behind but nonetheless they will still fight for more users by doing this and they will get "tons" coming back. I think this is great for both us and jagex.
The good old memories of free trade will certainly be something nice to get back. Being able to barter and make money by means of manipulation and investing in items will be nice. Being able to buy a whip or some other item and sell it for twice or even three times what its worth would be nice. I dont think this will happen though mostly because the G.E. will remain. This does not seem like the best idea because the market will begin to function like it should and less and less people will use it.
Overall though, I cant wait to see the results of this referendum and I hope that Jagex makes the right choice in choosing to keep and get rid of the current system. I hope the best for runescape. Cheers.
