@Maniac:
I also considered this when I first saw the poll...the problem with having wild-only worlds (which would basically become the bounty hunter worlds with the entire map) would be that there wouldn't be as much strategy. When I say strategy, I'm simply considering the mere fact that people get jumped. Whether they are running to the abyss, working on a clue, or training agility, part of the wilderness means that it *should* be dangerous. If there were worlds where that danger were removed, all players would migrate to those "safe" worlds to keep from being killed - that takes away from the player killers in the wilderness (I know this sounds like I'm one-sided but I'm trying to be as fair as I can). Personally, I am for the wild and free trade back.
I have read and I understand both sides, but I believe that if Jagex says they can keep RWT and botting at bay, then they can. I'm trusting them with that. Likewise though, I DON'T want it to be drastically different, such as bounty hunter was when the old wilderness was removed. I believe Jagex needs to either bring it back to how it was before they got rid of it or keep it the same...no strings attached and no small little differences that change everything.
One thing that many people seem to forget; people get scammed and jumped, it's a part of the game. I got scammed many times as a new player, but then I learned. In my opinion, Jagex needs to take more responsibility if they bring these things back: they need to do a better job educating newer players of the dangers of the wilderness and other players scamming them. It'll be no small task since new players generally have no idea what they're doing (which is expected of course), but I think it can be done.
