Why is hardly anyone addressing the fact that the voting system wasn't set up properly? There are no rules for voting! All a person has to do is copy and paste from the freakin high scores and a vote is made!
The voting system for this needs to be redone. This is to big of an issue for ANY votes to be considered valid.

I would love to see the old wilderness come back. That was one of my most favorite passions was to pk at 4:00 in the morning, camping at a spot waiting, on random people to battle.
As for Free Trade, I do think it would be great to reinstate it. It has its ups and downs, but overall I think your learn lessons from it. When I was a novice player and Free Trade was still around, I scammed and got scammed. It teaches you lessons of who to trust and not trust. I'm wise enough to not fall into that kinda crap anymore, so free trade wouldn't be a problem for me.
Right now with the Trade Limit prices are pretty stable, and with Free Trade coming i hope it stays that way.

Why does it have to be both or nothing? I'm in favor of free trade, but why do I have to put up with the old wildy to get it? I don't pk, and I prefer not having to deal with those that do.
This isn't a slam against pkers, it's merely an expression of my own preferences. I love to skill, but I don't drag other players into my skilling frenzies. Why should I be dragged into other people's killing frenzies?
Since I can't vote only for free trade, I'll be staying silent in this one.
...remembers when you had to USE EACH AND EVERY FISH IN YOUR INVENTORY WITH A RANGE to cook them...

to Archy Rival, I also was a member and played before the change in "07. I thought it was the best thing they did. You can have your wild, but don't force me to like it or go there. If rs returns every world to the old wild, I will quit playing RS. Course this is probably what you want. Why can't there be a compromise and have some wild worlds and some safe worlds to keep everyone happy.
No I don't like the risk of losing all my things. But we should all have a choice to play the way we want.
You can have your wild worlds and let we that like the safe worlds have ours.

people asking: why bring back wildy, we got pvp worlds/bh worlds?
This is why:
The old wilderness is a place for adrenaline, tactics and actually using the ENTIRE wilderness. The current loot system really sucks in my opinion. I hope they are bringing back the 100% drop system (if you kill someone you get all their items exept 1 item if they used the protect item prayer or 3 items if they aren't skulled, or 4 if both). This will also bring back dharokking wich was very much fun. I honestly see way much more good things about bringing the wilderness back then bad things.
And of people that think they are going to get scammed... Why would u think of that, you might get scammed but that would be YOUR fault, not Jagex's
And in my opinion, the wilderness update should be to every world, not 1, not 10, ALL worlds.

My personal opinion is that the Wilderness should stay as they are, and Free Trade should be altered -
If freetrade is brought back, then it has to change compared to how it was - We will go back to our gold purchasing ways! I also think that Quest Points should still give you some type of a 'bonus', I know that many people suddenly started doing quests again when they knew it could up their Trade Limit, removing the Trade Limit could reduce the amount of quests completed, which I think would be a massive loss to the Community. The amount of scams that I saw back them should NOT be introduced. I'm not sure how you can fix that, but it has to be changed if it is to be reintroduced!
As for the Wilderness, I have no opinion, I never was, and never will be a PK'er... But to be honest, It is likely to annoy many players, and appease many players, and bring back some players who quit in 2007 - Whichever way it goes, this would be a *ontroversial decision... However, I think it will reintroduce some of the excitment and danger of going into the Wilderness again.
On a finishing note, I'm very excited to see Jagex rethinking some of their past decisions, especially those which really effected the community. And I'm also glad to see that you're asking our opinion on matters that once riled our tempers!
