I guess the wilderness/trade limit should come back. I mean free trade was cool and all, but people now are more secure about their account ect. So trade limit is good, also (HOPEFULLY) People are smart enough not to go into wildy with their bank now, so why go in it when you can die from a pker? So this seems like a great idea, cant wait. :P :P :P :P

My concern is that the link to the petition page from the news post is somewhat unclear. Players may click that page, enter their account names without appreciating that they are signing the petition in support of the proposal.
Could the page be tweaked, so that players can post a "Yes" or "No" vote?

I for one have made this SAME mistake with out knowing it Was a 1 click option!!!
I Don't want the free trade back it would mean the return items prices sky prcketing again / mager item scams / account hacking & tradeing item thats not theres & the return of more gold farming bots.
LEAVE the trade system the way it or maby release random event items that would alow players to do free trades but would only last for 1 trade & players would only be able to get 1 of that item from a random event & keep 1 at a time max.

As for the wild i would love to see it return to the old ways but then it would mess up things like corp beast / summers quests / clan wars - steeling creations - fist of guthix would be harder to get to & may have clans waiting by them ready to pile the next person that comes along.
Jegex if they released the old wild they would need to keep the game balanced for every one & to do that they would need some wild worlds / some non pk wild worlds.

I do not want to old wilderness back.
The following reasons why:
- Clue scrolls in wilderness = EXTREMELY HARD
Aren't revenants enough danger in the wilderness?
- Wilderness Stars = EXTREMELY HARD
Same as Clue scrolls.
- Green Dragons = No more people at green dragons, ONLY the pkers that can afford to stay in battle.
No old wilderness. That is why we have Bounty Hunter worlds.

Free trade - I am 50% on free trade, because sometimes you want to give something out to a friend that is more than your trade limit.
Reason not for Free Trade:
- Scammers = WAY MORE
Scammers will be happy because you have added free trade.
Scammer 1:W00T, TY Jagex. Time to scam.
Scammer 2:R0FL, I scammed you 10m! Hahaha! N00B!
Even if they are reported, there will be too many scammers to mute or ban them all.

If over 1,000,000 votes are submitted "Yes", and Runescape then sucks balls because people are ruining wilderness and so many people are scamming, then I will then forth quit Runescape.
JAGeX, why take it away in the first place? Just because you want popularity doesn't mean you have to go *@#!ing Runescape.

I Have a suggestion -
many of players think its a bad idea for free trade and old wildy back.
i was thinking of like their should be this :
50% of worlds should be the old wilderness.
and 50% of rest should be safe
and for free trade, i would like to have that
good :p?

This is a terrible voting system since anyone can place your acc name into the vote thing I have already heard of a few people placing in votes for people who arent even on. Personaly i think the voting system needs to be changed.

Really? What exactly can do you do to a programmer? Stop him/her from programming? Absolutely not. Take away his/her hosting? They will just find another one.
Stop them from charging? What about free software? It's not like it's hard to code either.

What really can you do? The person logged into the account with the ********. As far as I know it's not a crime to do that. The only crime would be phishing. Even then your jurisdiction doesn't cover places like Russia or China where a lot of these people are.
IP ban them? Well it's a good thing for them that they have a dynamic IP.
Ban their IP range?
Then you might loose legit players.
I remember how well you guys shut down the RS gold trading websites. You didn't.
I am so against this. You are offering no bonus to players other than the ability to give/receive gifts.
You are giving hackers and programmers so many benefits if they choose to use them.
This is taking a step backwards. Sure RS was fun back then. Back when it wasn't all grind. Back when you could afford something like herblore without having to merchant. That's not the wilds fault.
I am not a PKer. I am not a merhcant. I am a skiller. All you are doing is harming me. This makes it harder to runecraft. This makes it harder to do clue scrolls. Harder to do slayer tasks.
What do I get in return? Lost glory amulets and clue scrolls?
Skillers struggle enough in this game. Let's not make it worse.
