i went on to the website to see if i missed any good updates in the past few months and i found this referendum thing. i really hope they listen this time and put free trade and the wild back in place. they will never be able to completely stop cheaters but the majority of players would rather have the good old wild and trade back.
i may actually start playing again if this happens

see jagex even players that dont play anymore are coming back just to get this back! you must do it not only will it benefit us but ull be just as rich as u were back in 2005-2007 now all i see is world 1,2,6 and 84 sometimes have people over 1500 in those worlds and i remember the days when 20+ worlds had over 1500+ people! they even had a news announcement for 1m people playing in a day at once and they had to have more servers for this. so for god's sake think about it if you don't bring it back now after all this is heated up well say goodbye to rs pretty much :P when you promise something and it doesnt happen well, i'm pretty sure i dont have to tell you jagex ;)

I can't prove this but I don't think Jagex has as many real players as they would like to believe. 1m players to vote yes.. sounds like a fantasy to me. If having riots, trying to crash the servers worlds, breaking every rule known to Jagex in pure fury trying to get banned, was not a sign enough back then that we wanted free trade and wildy.. why are we opening up an old wound just to pour salt on it?
What kind of reaction will happen this time round? I'll have to wait and see.

I have a few questions.
1) Will items dropped by killed players in the wildy appear to other players after a few minute like it used too (I really hope so)
2) Will items left at grave stones appear to other players after the grave stone has gone.
3) Will items dropped on the ground appear to other players after a few minute what every there value.
4) If a player is injured in the wildy and teleports or runs out of the wildy but dies soon after due to getting killed by a monster or poison damage taking their life. Will they get a grave stone or will the items appear to the person who killed them and then to the other players.

The idea of bringing back the traditional wilderness and trading system is very appealing to me. Though I imagine it caused a lot of problems. I myself was once scammed out of a pair of Dragon Platelegs because of the Free Trading System. I'm all for it, I vote yes!

ok, I have two things to say. Firstly, THANK YOU GOD THANK YOU JAGEX FOR FINALLY LISTENING TO THE PLAYERS!!!!

Secondly, I have been a player of runescape since 2001, I was angry and quit for a while in 2005, when I realized they were going to do away with classic. I started playing again when I realized I could still play classic, and then I almost completely stopped playing in 2007. I am one of only 4 of the people I met when I was starting this game, that stuck with you after the 2007 updates. You lost thousands of players, many of them good friends of mine, because you took away one of the biggest passtimes of the game. And YOU TRIED TO HIDE IT!! you made a little subscript at the bottom of the ge update announcement saying "hey by the way we took out pvp combat." you didn't announce it, you just tried to slip it in******;---that's what she said =]) I am glad that I decided to stick with you. Most of my fellow 2001-2003 players quit saying that jagex was corrupted by profit and wouldn't listen to players anymore, but I knew you would come around eventually. So thank you for finally listening,
