I am about to counter everyone's arguments (with good grammar) against free trade and the wilderness.
GETTING SCAMMED:
-I am sorry if you got scammed pre-2007, and I'm not going to call you stupid for it. But now, people are much smarter and therefore, if you got scammed before, you should be more careful and know you don't want it to happen again. There is also A BIG FLASHING RED EXCLAMATION POINT when someone changes their offer, so you should be good in noticing when someone changes their items.
-In the wild, there is now a wilderness wall. There is also a big warning when you are about to enter the wild. So unless you go into the wilderness on your own, knowing the consequences, you will not get lured or scammed*
***'ers:
-People were fine doing clues, mage arena, and green dragons before the 2007 updates. This may sound mean, but a lot of people are going to be babies about it and complain that they can't camp at green dragons with their cannon. Honestly, if you need the supplies, you can go kill green dragons for them. But if you're going to camp their and bot with your cannon, this change will actually stop you from doing that and leave the green dragons to people who need them.
PRICING:
-Yes, many prices will change. There is nothing you can do about that. Certain items will go up, some will drop. This really isn't an issue, as the economy changes all the time. You can't prevent that at all. A lot of people are afraid of change, and the 8% that voted no are without a doubt mostly post-2007 members.
BOTS:
-Bots are in the game at this moment. They always will be. Jagex is doing everything in their power to stop them. Will they ever be gone? No. But Jagex is cracking down on them and they should not be an issue.
REAL WORLD TRADING:
-I really don't even see why this is an issue, as even though it is against the rules, it really isn't a big deal. Though again, Jagex is stopping many and stopped many even before the 2007 update.
