I have a suggestion about the upcoming wildy update (or should I say "return" ) - why not turn the current PvP Worlds into new Skill Total Worlds? There are only 2 right now (1 F2P and 1 P2P), and it would be nice to see different Skill Total Worlds with different level requirements. As of right now, the only requirements for skill total worlds are 1000 for F2P and 1500 for P2P. Why not make a F2P Skill Total (500) World or a P2P Skill Total (1000) World? These are only suggestions, you can choose any skill totals you want, Jagex. ;)

I would have to agree with you if a real poll was being conducted on something whose result can turn out either way.
But then you see, everyone, including Jagex, knows what the result of the poll would be. No matter how small or big the sample size is, the result would most certainly be similar to how it is now. My guess is that Jagex has already decided to bring back wildy and free trade, and this poll is just to make some extra money or just for show.

DarkGorebyss, Also one of the more ignorant posts, As a person whos account was built on PKing, I would not like to have a limit on how many players I can kill per day, That's part of the problem with the wilderness as it is now.
Making a level 20 CAP on wilderness? Thats just making yourself look like a fool for caring if a player under level 20 enters the wilderness.
Personally I haven't, But my little brother used to make new accounts every other day back in '06, And he enjoyed level 3-20 PKing with magic and him and my cousin would 'Team' With magic in Varrock wilderness with Bind spells and try to kill other low levels. The loot wasn't much at all, But it brought that little more 'Fun' and 'Freedom' to do as you please.

The trade meter, Alright thats a hit or miss, Depending on each persons opinions individually. Because when JaGex made the trade limits, They didn't exactly have the price everyone sold their items for exactly correct, And 'Junk' was just JUNK. It had no independant value of any sort. And really, It doesn't need one.
They went from having full guthans being around 12M (back in '06ish I am taking the price from) to now being around 3M cap. I'm wondering how unstable the economy might be for a little while right after the update, or if all the people who bought their items for JaGex's prices will be now selling it for that price, because thats what they have into it.

To many, the idea of a new Runescape trade and “PK” system may seem like a big change. But for a lot of the players, they’ve been there and done that already. And whether they liked it or not the first time round, it happened. The sheer inevitability that these, well lets say “Original” players faced in 2007 was an all too sudden, and might I say HUGE change, and was also enough to make a lot of them quit. As one of these players, I can fully agree that a lot of the people who are reluctant with changing it around back to like it was in the good old days were probably not around to even play it. Therefore, it seems quite one sided with an attitude of “I like it, I want it, I keep it“. And while this is their opinion and they are entitled to it, I don’t think a lot of them have thought through the advantages and disadvantages of both systems and how it would affect them. Just as you could rack up a load of comments each saying what they want, their reasons might not be suited for another person‘s. Just as you do things for that good feeling you get when you know you’ve done something that will indefinitely help and bring joy to another person, I think on the day you changed the systems, you lost a lot of your best fans. I used to take pride in using them, too, how the wilderness was always very fun and the phrase “Trade limit” was unheard amongst the players. But now, it’s as if we are living in the shadows, as we cannot gift each other with items or money, have a good fight in the barren wastelands of the wilderness, and overall not have as much fun as we used to. Yes, there are concerns involving Real-World trading. Yes, there are concerns involving annoying bots, but lets be honest, Runescape wouldn’t be complete without that sort of thing happening. And I think one way or another, the people doing the dodgy dealings are always going to find a way to exploit the new systems somehow, whether you like it or not, and no new “Cyber crime combat systems” will fix that

The reason theres so many pker's expressing their views here (maybe more agressivly) is because they passionaly want this to return. Pking was truely amazing to so many people and post 07 it lost its freedom aspect.

Picclo, well it doesn't matter what you ALONE think. check the votes bro.
=]
It's quite clear what the majority of rs want, and to be honest i believe the only people who are voting no are the people who have never experienced the original wilderness/trading abilities
OR
were just the small minority of people who weren't fit to accept the fact that the wilderness is supposed to be dangerous.. clues USED to be hard.. and so did killing dragons.. now people just camp it up with cannons, and doing clues is quick and risk-free. THINK OF IT THIS WAY,
I finish my hard scrolls in like 15 mintues sometimes, with literally no risks, and get junk every single time. MAYBE if the risks increased, Jagex would be more leniant on the success rate.
