The voting wont end until the 14th of Jan, which is on a friday (the one next week). Theres no saying if they will update on that friday, or wait until the coming monday, or even sometime later that week.

Obvious that the only people voting no are selfish skillers. Look at all the productive skilling updates that have come out since the wilderness was removed. Distractions and diversions, more ways to train skills, even a new skill for gods sake. While they've been getting all these, pkers such as myself have had terrible updates such as "anti 76king", random loots based on whether you can be bothered to wait around for a few hours and many more. We finally get a good update and skillers can't handle that...

Joey Go Blah please do not label everyone into on category i can assure you i aint a skiller just look at my stats it more than proves that some of my highs* skills are range , magic, attack and str
i dotn want this update as im not sure about free trade and how it would work under the new g.e
and id like to see more detials about how there going to modify the g.e to cope with free trade.

Agreed.
I still havent heard a good reason for them not wanting the wilderness back. the main things I hear are:
-Scamming
-RWT
-Botting
-Clue Scrolls
-Quests
-Minigames
All of these topics have already been looked at by Jagex. Do no voters think they're the only ones who anticipate the return of old problems? No, Jagex has it covered.
First of all, you have to be a complete moron to be scammed. I wont even go into that.
Secondly, Gold farming in China has been made illegal, so its not as easy to get away with, meaning less bots on runescape. Also, RWT never stopped with the addition of trade limit. Even though free trade might make it easier to RWT, Jagex said they have a way of combating it, and i for one will trust them to handle it.
Third, botting has never stopped either. Maybe the update will bring back MASS botting, cutting yews, mining all of player's ores, ect. But again, Jagex said they have a way to combat that.
Fourth, clue scrolls were around when the wilderness was dangerous back in the days. There is no need to change that. You dont HAVE to do a clue scroll if your so worried about dying in the wilderness to another player.
No need to even talk about Quests and Minigames as it stated that they will be relocated.

Has it not sunk in to just gtfo and deal with it yet? youv'e probably been here since the first couple of pages and nw to 1300+ GEEZUZ. get some sleep.

everyone that dont want this update is a noob or didnt play 3 years ago.
everyone that don't want this update is an idiot and cant see the big picture.
these points one are unjusified
and 2 don't realy make me want to change my mind.
id like to see some facts about why wildy would be so good as this update is more that likely to come so i want to be convicied tis a good thing.

real response = i have a full time job and im only actualy on this thread for a few hours a day if that as i have other real world comitments.
if i want to spend my lessure time on a thread its up to me it does not make me sad or a no lifer.
i could spend the time watching tv or playing sport but it dont intrest me as much.

and im sure some people would say that people that play online roleplay games are sados but thats not necesaraly right is it?

Hi i'm Duel.
I was playing Runescape from 2001 till 2007, i live nearby Amsterdam and my whole town stopped playing Runescape. We all think that the free trade should return especially Duel-arena like the old times. If it's going to be like the old Wildy alot of friends of me start playing again!
It would be so much more fun!
So bring wildy back and make Holland happier!
