Fredup, my thread was not made to target individual players, that is not right. But it is fairly obvious that people who don't pk are the ones who are saying no, because they don't know what it's like in the position of a pker. They haven't seen the reason they play this game litteraly ruined by every update that came out. Yet selfishly they won't let it come back for small issues, and even irrelevent issues that Johney pointed out. That's what I don't understand :S

Joey Go Blah its fine to say people that dont pk could ** the oens saying no i have no problem with that but to say all people that vote no don't pk is another issue i loved the old duel arena and won a lot in there
my main problem is with free trade
and my 2nd problem is with moving evrything in thw wildy
why cant we jsut have the new wilderness with the old rules why does everyhting have to be moved?

Yeah, Jagex, I've already posted my opinion on this before. Yep, I feel it worth doing again. First of all, I can't believe you expect us to cast a vote so cut-and-dried as "Yes" or "No". This is a major deal and can not be handled by such a definitive answer.
I would believe the majority of logical individuals would like to have free trade, but I would also believe the majority of logical pkers would like to retain PVP and BH+1 as it is now. You have created a beautiful system and it works very well, Kudos! Free trade would allow us to sharpen our negotiation skills and assist friends as much as WE deem appropriate. Keeping PVP/BH as it is now encourages everybody to risk to get a good drop.
Secondly, I know it is aggravating, at times, with the current system. I have personally been the victim of getting robbed on drops by people risking MILLIONS but only dropping THOUSANDS and it was at no fault other than the mechanics of the system. I'm fine with that. We need to come to peace with it, because if we go back to the traditional wilderness system... We will just get frustrated by getting worse drops. It is a gamble, and as such--is more rewarding when we get a nice drop(as long as both players are risking +26k/+76k).
So there it is; My argument for why we can't just vote yes or no. Because the situation is much too complex for such a simplistic response. Thank you for your time, Jagex, and I hope we can keep PVP/BH worlds as they are(maybe in addition to opening up the rest of the worlds to traditional operation).

Agreed.
Though its not all people who don't pk that voted no, but i would say a vast majority.
There are the few people that dont pk that either want it back, or dont care if it comes back or not.
What does annoy me though, are the people who never pked, the people who tried and failed at pking, or the people that have bad wilderness experiences, then come on forums and say that wilderness pking is the worst thing in the game.
Most of the economy use to run around the wilderness. Lobs, shark, tuna, swordfish, rune arrows, bolts, runes, various armour, e**. Skillers use to make most of thier money from pkers that needed to buy all that equipment just so they can pk.

That totally explains why 90% of people want the old wilderness back.......
*facepalm*
