I honestly believe bringing back the old wildy is a very bad idea.. I mean, yes, it creates a better type of PK, etc.. But didn't we already go through the bs of getting rid of this in the first place? C'mon, man! And as far as free trade goes.. Are you people dense or something? Free trade = RWT. Once that happens**** = Dead, prices will sky rocket on some items and sink to basic 0 on others..
In all seriousness, I hope this is some kind of joke.. Not even allowing a "No" vote?! WTF?! And this is supposed to be decided by who, when people can just vote for us, even if we don't want it..? Yeah, right! This is turning out like a **** party or something.. "You can say no, but we only care if you say yes" <-- Stupid.

At the current rate of votes, we will only have 1675092 votes at the end of the voting period. This is bad. Very bad. But it also helps to prove my point.
Jagex is just trying to cause hype. How come they didn't make the vote as obvious as the 10k drawing they're going to have /next/ year? How come they aren't doing a yes/no poll? How come it's so easy to take random account usernames to vote? How come you can vote several times per IP? Because over half of the accounts in Jagex's system have been completely forgotten. There is no way to find these names, and their creators will never hear of this vote or remember the names of their accounts. Jagex knows this, and is doing this so that later they can tell us "See? You don't want the free wilderness or the free trade back." This is exactly what car companies did with the electric car. And now they're doing this to us.

Many players and I smell something fishy about this poll. Why the change of heart all of a sudden? Didn't you guys say something about never bringing it back?
For me, I would love the Free Trading to come back. Okay, I know all about the real world trading thing. At least I can give gifts or help my friends with more stuff.
Wilderness.. The big one people are mostly fighting about. I don't think it should come back. Those pkers already have a bounty hunter and PvP worlds. Why bring it back? You'll lose players for it. I know the big "But, they'll gain players back again" thing will come up. What's the difference with a PvP World/Bounty Hunter World and the old Wilderness? Nothing. It's the same exact thing. No. Now I think about it, the Wilderness had scamming. Anyway, if it does get brought back, at least have worlds that don't have it still.
And the poll. I think you all heard it enough, but it's wrong. Some of us were hoping there would be a "Yes" or "No" to it, but no. It was vote and you said Yes! Maybe some people don't want both. Plus, trolls can easily being trolling it. Macros, stealing people's usernames and put it in there, being able to put your name more than once. Something just not right about it.
That's just my opinion.

Honestly jagex and fellow runescape players, the (free trade) is a great idea!!
But bringing back the old wilderness is terrible, so many people want it back cause they know what they can do with the old wildy like scam new players or players that dont know about the old wildy into losing all there stuff therefore gaining their own profits! Jagex if you bring old wildy back yea you might gain players now, but in the long run your gonna lose way more than you gain!

Hello. I'm your average troll, i live under bridges and eat slop...
Today i've had a good adventure, i went to a website that asked me if I wanted to bring back the trade/wilderness...
Ofcourse, I am a troll, and what do trolls do?
I massively spammed the vote button, but to my suprise, i needed a runescape account name...
I ventured to your highscores, and to my astonishment...
I Found hundreds and thousands and millions of usernames at my disposel and quickly started clicking away..
Oh my gosh that was getting quite hard on my fingers...So i created a MACRO to do it for me...Oh how i loved those hundreds and thousands of votes i just created...
So that was my big adventure... Hope you enjoyed it!

I do not want to old wilderness back.
The following reasons why:
- Clue scrolls in wilderness = EXTREMELY HARD
Aren't revenants enough danger in the wilderness?
- Wilderness Stars = EXTREMELY HARD
Same as Clue scrolls.
- Green Dragons = No more people at green dragons, ONLY the pkers that can afford to stay in battle.
No old wilderness. That is why we have Bounty Hunter worlds.

Free trade - I am 50% on free trade, because sometimes you want to give something out to a friend that is more than your trade limit.
Reason not for Free Trade:
- Scammers = WAY MORE
Scammers will be happy because you have added free trade.

Scammer 2:R0FL, I scammed you 10m! Hahaha! N00B!
Even if they are reported, there will be too many scammers to mute or ban them all.

You at Jagex need to re do the voting procedure.
I will not vote for this to happen but someone else can put my name in? How bout makin it to where you have to log in completely and answer a security question to offer your vote up.
From what I have been told (they could have been lying) but quite a few have voted with a popular gamer tag that has not been online for quite some time.
Jagex, if this goes through and my Account happens to be hacked into I lose all of my bank, Armor, and other items and am left out in the wildy *****... (this has happened to others before.)
1.) Expect me and many ppl I know to quit playing your game altogether.
2.) I see * huge lawsuit coming your way. Specially from paying members.
As much as I enjoyed Free trade when I first started playing RS, I can not see this being a good idea to be brought back.
You do not have enough security measures in place, or monetary resources to take on someone (i.e) from japan, who hacks into an acct. belonging to someone from Canada.
The logic you bring forth to making RS more of the Old version is flawed dramatically.
Instead of Free Trade how about amping up the amount available to the trade limit. (i.e. when I was a lvl 58 I was maxed out at 40k gp.)

Last thoughts on this, Once again I say RE-DO THE VOTING SYSTEM FOR I DID NOT VOTE AND SOMEONE ELSE PUT MY NAME IN, MAKE IT TO WHERE YOU HAVE TO FULLY LOG IN. (THERE WERE ONLY AROUND 80K PEOPLE ONLINE EARLY THIS MORNIN AND IT WAS UP TO 250+ VOTES FOR IT!)

Ok so it's been like 3 years and everyone has accepted that the Wilderness is gone...so now it might come back?! I mean, it seems stupid I think most people have fully adjusted to the lack of Pking in the WIlderness, and personally I do not relish the idea of being jumped by someone when I'm killing Drags or something. The old WIlderness way much much more dangerous in my opinion, and if it comes back many activites like Mge Arena, clue scrolls, killing Druids and Drags, will become waaaaaay harder. Abstain!
