we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
with a new updated year.
what failure was brought,
from Jagex & friends.
the wildy is gone now,
and the trade limit too!
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
with a new updated year!
the pink and blue skirted players, who hated jafex,
against the black skirted people who support jamflex.
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
and a seemingly crappy new year.
The lag fest's wrath
was now on it's way.
with trains full of macros
to celebrate the update!
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
we wish you a merry x-mas event,
That could be baaaaaccckkkkk.... THIS YEEEEEEEEAAARRRRRRR.

Decision 2010, for the wilderness.

"Look at your awards you have gotten so far.
2009 Golden Joystick
2010 Golden Joystick
Notice neither one of those are from the "Good old days"?
It's because the way you have improved the game over the years since then is so much better and so much more wanted by todays population.
No one wants to log on to RuneScape and be afraid someone is going to scam them every 5 seconds. "
lol i agree for once

It appears to me many players click with the intention of voting NO but instead end up casting a vote for yes. The information being gathered in this poll is generating a false impression.
As to the return of the old Wilderness, only if it were on selected worlds would I support this idea. The separation of PVP from those who do not care for that activity was one of the best things to ever happen to this game. Some take great joy and pride in killing other players. The former wildy on selected servers would give those who like/love PVP what they have been after and let the rest of us continue on our merry ways.
As to the lifting of the Trade Limits:
For that to happen the GE would have to go. The limits are the only thing partially holding the racketeers at bay. The GE’s allows so broad a reach as to the supply of items removing the trade limits without removing the GE would be racketeers dream come true. While I abhor the flagrant abuse of the GE and extortion of some price floors and ceilings, along with the whole junk trade deal, its removal would be a major step backwards. . Removal of the GE would take away a lot of time presently used to play the game, as that time would then have to be spent seeking to buy or sell materials.
Frankly the trade limits are fine as they stand. I would rather players have to play the game to earn their rewards than have them handed out. The better option would be to limit all player to player trades to a maximum value based on our current imbalanced limits. The junk trade scheme would go away. The GE prices would adjust to reality, provided you do a much better job at stopping manipulation.
In conclusion, wildy restoration on selected servers would be fine, free trade without removal of the GE would be a nightmare. The restoral of free trade would come at too high a cost.

Hello. I'm your average troll, i live under bridges and eat slop...
Today i've had a good adventure, i went to a website that asked me if I wanted to bring back the trade/wilderness...
Ofcourse, I am a troll, and what do trolls do?
I massively spammed the vote button, but to my suprise, i needed a runescape account name...
I ventured to your highscores, and to my astonishment...
I Found hundreds and thousands and millions of usernames at my disposel and quickly started clicking away..
Oh my gosh that was getting quite hard on my fingers...So i created a MACRO to do it for me...Oh how i loved those hundreds and thousands of votes i just created...
So that was my big adventure... Hope you enjoyed it!

At the current rate of votes, we will only have 1675092 votes at the end of the voting period. This is bad. Very bad. But it also helps to prove my point.
Jagex is just trying to cause hype. How come they didn't make the vote as obvious as the 10k drawing they're going to have /next/ year? How come they aren't doing a yes/no poll? How come it's so easy to take random account usernames to vote? How come you can vote several times per IP? Because over half of the accounts in Jagex's system have been completely forgotten. There is no way to find these names, and their creators will never hear of this vote or remember the names of their accounts. Jagex knows this, and is doing this so that later they can tell us "See? You don't want the free wilderness or the free trade back." This is exactly what car companies did with the electric car. And now they're doing this to us.
Please copy and paste this message so that others will know Jagex's plot.

I don't know why JaGeX is suggesting this.
I can't see a way this would improve the game. Some players will be happy and excited, but it has a lot of cons.
It'll cause a lot of scamming, which is one of the reasons why JaGeX changed it in the first place (?).
If JaGeX decides not to go through with it, people will be mad for bringing it up again, and for giving them false hope.
This poll really caused a lot of riots in ceveral CCs and worlds.
How would it help the game?
PS; Why is there only a "Vote Now!" button? People who want to vote against it might click it, and end up making the wrong vote. JaGeX should have made a "Yes" and "No" button?
PPS; Good job with the golden joystick, JaGeX! :)
