@Phthartic, Are you with or against bringing back the old wilderness and unlimited trading. I have tried again and again reading your most recent message but I cannot seem to get a yes answer or a no answer. As I have said in different words, I cannot understand your method of saying yes or no to this referendum, please answer me in a polite manner. Just reading back on my words, they may sound a little smart but please don,t take it like that, I am just asking you this question hoping for an answer, not knowing if I will get one . Yours sincerely Predator 51. ;)

Why should there be a compromise? When rs2 was released wildy came with it where it was pk on any world, yes ofc theer will be worlds specially for pking and worlds that aren't but green dragons etc was meant to be in a pking area in the first place. I believe Runescape should rollback to how it was originally supposed to be rather then make it "Noob Friendly" (not calling you a noob btw)

Defiently voted yes.
I don't see any reason to relocate anything away from the wildy when this change comes into effect. These activites/clue scrolls etc. where put in to the wildy because there was meant to be some RISK involoved in doing them. And that extra risk made it that much more fun. Killing green drags in the wildy is going to become alot more fun for me because there will be a RISK involoved keeping you on the edge of your toes. And no rev's aren't a risk all you need to do is turn run on and head south and you will out run them.
Real trade will make it more like the real world and alot more interesting. Ok so maybe you might get scammed once but once you've been scammed once you will never get scammed again because you learn from your mistakes. Hell I lost full addy trimmed armour many years ago but then I learnt from my mistake.
I agree with posts saying that jagex have been babying people recently.

People, stop complaining about green dragons! I was able to kill green dragons just fine before they removed free trade and wildy, so unless u dont know how to play, stop complaining and if you dont know how to play, learn or quit.

I've been playing on and off since the very end of RSC was approaching, and have had this account since... '04 I believe, and I never have been scammed. Personally, I am 80% for this vote.
I completely agree with bringing free trade back, keeping all of the new features (sans trade limits) since the '07 update.
The wilderness, on the other hand, I think should be brought back, but similar to how other MMO's do PvP, only in specific worlds. I for one go into the wilderness to train now and do Penguin Hunting, and I'd rather not have to deal with annoying PKers.
And when it comes to scanning, if you get scammed, chances are you're gullible and too lazy to work towards what was being offered to you yourself. If something's too good to be true, it probably is. The problem isn't the scammers, it's the scamees too.

When I heard about a vote for free trade and old wildi back I thought "Yes the free trade is back" So I made my way to the voting page and it said to either vote for both or none.
So I had to vote for both even though I only want free trade back.
If you dont have wildi pvp and no revs im fine with that.

I have been playing RS since 2005. I feel that the petition and referendum is being rigged. Make it that theres only 1 vote from 1 IP Address and start the referendum anew.
I have experienced the old wilderness and free trade system. Today, I feel that I would prefer that old wilderness and trade limit doesnt come back, or either that we should limit old wildy and free trade to a few new worlds and leave all the current worlds intact.
Jagex, you have to consider both sides, the new players who played after 10/12/2007 update and old players who played before the 10/12/2007 update; both sides want two different things and some of them want the opposite. If you were to get 50k old players back and lose 75k players who played after '08, what's the point?
So, by-far the best solution so far, to make everyone happy and still combat RWT and botting would be:
First:
Jagex, keep all the worlds intact. Leave the trade limit and current wilderness alone. Leave the new PvP and Bounty Worlds system alone as well, as some players DO enjoy PKing with the new PvP and Bounty system. Keep all world's activities the same, i.e. world 117 for Dungeoneering, worlds 158/164 for SC and etc.
This is to please those preferring current RS.
Second:
Jagex, introduce new worlds, recommended maybe 20 each for members and free players. 10 servers will have old wilderness, 10 servers for free trade.(I know buying servers and maintaining them costs a BOMB) Nevertheless, if you are going to get thousands of players and subscriptions and possibly millions of dollars back, why not?
Also, to prevent RWT, please make all free trade worlds less accessible to RWTers and exploiters, only allowing genuine legit players. Also retain the GE's price caps. Make free trade worlds have a skill total and/or QP requirement or a mix of these two. Maybe around 750+ total levels and 20-30 QP's combined for F2P and maybe 1000+ total levels and 80-100 QP's, as members have 9 new skills and lots more quests.
TBC

Continued:
If Jagex were to follow my solution among many others (My solution is the best solution I can currently think of, and I'm not counting 100% on Jagex to follow my solution fully, even though this is a win-win solution for everyone save for RWTers if my solution is followed 100%), I'm sure both new players and old schoolers would be satisfied. With 10 worlds solely for old wilderness and free trade each, with free trade worlds having a prerequisite to enter, also I'm sure all old-school PKers will not waste their time killing players who are not worthwhile for them to kill, or those who truly do not wish to fight, be made frozen solid in a huge cuboid of freezing ice by a mage with a Magic skillcape, be killed while doing clues, dragons and whatnot. So, this will make free wilderness worlds full with only PKers who truly want to fight each other and enjoy it rather than waste time on victims with nothing on them or spectators with no equipment on. I'm sure both types of PKers, old-schoolers and new players will enjoy fighting each other, as most of the PKers who currently PK in PvP and Bounty Worlds ask another player for permission to fight first before attacking, or even make it mandatory, those with accept aid on will receive the request to fight and ask for confirmation, and those without accept aid on cannot receive a fight request, much like how a teleother confirmation message is, but make the confirmation window so that you will have to click accept twice on two different windows so no accidental mishaps would occur.
To be continued, again.

Continued yet again:
If free trade worlds were to have a mix of total level and QP prerequisites to somewhat reduce RWT in advent of free trade, make it so that all quests ask you whether you want the rewards now or at a later time, or being able to choose what exp you get from the quest. The quest will however force you to receive QP's. For example:
A pure who trains Attack and Strength but does not not train Defence wishes to do a quest giving out Defence exp, Attack exp and Strength exp and 2 QP as a reward. They will immediately gain 2 QP's upon completion of the quest. Then, they should be able to choose what reward they would want from the quest, at anytime, immediately after the quest is finished or even 3 years later, and also be able to claim the exp/item at a later date in the event the player said no but changed their mind 5 minutes later. Therefore, in this case, that player would choose to receive from that example Quest the Attack and Strength exp offered and choose to skip the Defence exp. 2 years later on, that player wishes to become a tanker, with super-high Defence levels. They can now choose to receive the Defence exp although they have already said no to the Defence exp 2 years ago.
If all my solutions were to be combined together, then the whole legit RuneScape community would get together and be in harmony and all will get what they want without making the game's updates since December 2007 till now devalued, useless and/or defunct, much like the GE if free trade were to simply be implemented and price caps removed; without all that bickering, spamming, flaming, discrimination, and all sorts of disruptive behaviour regarding this matter. RWT would still be kept in check if free trade worlds had an entry requirement, to prevent RWTers to make thousands or maybe millions of throwaway accounts to sell gold to dishonest players who buy their way to the top.
Please don't flame/spite, im just voicing out ******uctive comments
TYVM,
