"When a friend of yours starts playing runescape, it is nice to give them 500K to get them started. When it is a b-day, it is nice to give money to them or a rare as a gift, x-mass gifts are fun to give, I played this game with my sis, and when she needed money, I would help her out. I had friends that I would help out. When I ran into a new player that was just needed a little help, I would make amour set for them and arrows to be nice. " thats what im talking about, before the trade limit you could give a friend something on here for xmas, their bday, and just to help them out, and now with trade limit, you can say "happy bday, heres 5k, go buy a few sets of iron :) " its just not as good as it used to be.

Just catching up on the twenty or so pages of posts since I slept. Another claim that keeps popping up that I haven't addressed yet:

Man, you supporters must all just be godlike players. Without other players trying to kill you (in one smallish area of the game) there's just no risk of dying or losing your items. Yeah, I tell you, doing clues is so easy now I just wear my best armor, bring my godsword and saunter around in the wildy digging holes.
Revnants? Hey, no problem. All you have to do is switch back and forth from protect mage to protect ranged, switching to the correct one before the Rev actually makes his next attack. No problem at all. Can't wait til I have a gang of 4 or 5 PKers (oh sorry... "clan&quot ;) attacking me simultaneously with all 3 styles to put some challenge back into the game.
I find dying to satisfy some little boy's desperate need to prove his dagger is bigger than everyone else's longsword really exciting.

I would think that having wilderness would be a fun thing to have again even though it has its up and downsides with more and more players becomes "pures" doing ridiculous amounts of damage at a low level but i had alot of fun being a pure too. free trade was a good thing too cuz i dont like the 5k trade limit. people say that with free trade you can get scammed easy. thats why they have the "trade modified" thing that comes up when an item is removed. Thething i dont like though is that i wouldnt be able to get money the way i make it cuz i make money by killing red dragons in the wilderness and collect their bones. Either way i kinda do want the wilderness to come back just to bring back old times and to have fun with it rather than the pvp worlds we have now because i dont really like those. I also want free trade to come back too.

To a certain extent Free Trade would be a good thing...
My suggestion is this.....
Have 5 to 10 friends you can give max trade benefits to and those friends must have been on your friends list for a certain period of time.This would help keep down those that wish to decieve those so they may rob them of all thier bank items!

.....you're not the only one that has been playing for 10 years so have i, i have forgotten most of my accounts i liked this game when you had to have common sence were you could help some one out if they needed it with that awesome 200k they got off a friend, were the game had freedom to lose your best things and make it back from nothing this my friends is RUNESCAPE!
put everything back the way it was and me and my friends will be happy.

I have been playing this game for over 7 years now and I remember back when the wild was the way they are wanting to turn it back to... IT WAS GREAT... but, with some exceptions.
The only thing that was bad was that fact that people could transfer things which gave the incentive to bot... if Jagex does decide to bring back "the good old days" then they better be prepared to handle the bots a LOT better then they did back in those days.
If they are not ready to handle the bots like they are handled now they should only bring back the old style with some exceptions to make it impossible for bots and cheating to be done as commonly as they were done before.
