The first thing that went through my head: "What is wrong with these people?". Honestly, I'd LOVE RuneScape with free trade & old wildy, but YOU were the ones who removed it, and at the time convinced me that it was the right thing to do.
Are you either admitting that these tactics have failed and that we have gone for years without our desired game-play for nothing, or are you just giving up on RS?
It's unreal how you never seize to upset me with your good intentions.

I just love how some people resort to e-chest bumping to prove a point.
I have been around since 2004, and I've seen my fair share of annoyances in the game.
Scamming (nope, never been scammed btw), begging, after clan war flaming in edgy, cheap-shotting Runecrafters just because they can, selling items for RL cash, jacked up item prices, in other words people who make it so that other people CAN'T enjoy the game.
You want the old RS back? Fine, vote and get your friends to vote. There are a bunch of people who don't want it back, and that's fine too. No need to call them 09 players or whatever. We don't call you low-life cheapshots do we?

old wildy back and free trade is what is needed to make runescape interesting again RWT of course is the problem with it but even as of now people still do it the game has been more and more ruined for people who play fair.

I wouldn't call myself a skiller. I am a combat lover. I enjoy Slaying and slaughtering different creatures on a day-to-day basis.
@4ncient - Wilderness/Old Trade are required to make RS Interesting 'again'. - Why aren't I buying this?

I agree that RWT is wrong and just plain stupid, you wouldn't pay real money for farmville cash would you? I guess some people are that wastefull with their money if the thing keeps going but still what's the advantage of paying real money for runescape gold and/or items? Me and my friends used to just give eachother stuff worth anywhere between 100k to a mill back in the day just cause we could i don't see how that is any different if the people are giving eachother a few bucks for doing it. We did it purely out of friendship but I don't see how RWT effects the actual game. Plenty of mmorpg's allow the buying and selling of their currency between players cause it doesn't effect the game in any way.

Common Sense, not Numbers.
Don't revert this change on the basis of one inflated poll. If you guys would have offered a few additional choices (for instance, Free Trade/Wilderness/Both/Neither/IDC), locked it PER IP ADDRESS, and promoted it a little better, the results could be more accurate.
In addition, don't let pure numbers sway your decision either way. Common Sense is much better. If you're going to revert back to a change that, by your own words, would've ruined runescape, then you need to use more than just a poll to make this decision.
