@Dantes Tears, Also you're wrong about the real runescape = rwt and botting because that's something most MMORPG's have to deal with. As so many others have said, the pro's of this update are bigger than the con's, for most of the players.

I hated the old wildy environment. There were situations where I had to go to the wildy and even though I'm not a PKer, I was forced into a game play situation I didn't want to be in. There is no other place in Runescape where a player must do something in game play that they don't want to do. I can live with most worlds being the old PK type world. But I should still be able to have non-PK worlds.

ugh gettin tired of all the noobs telling me botting and rwt isnt a problem.
it is a serious problem and jagex had been dealing with it like no other mmorpg but then again to players such as yourselves-never rank above 50k- i guess it doesnt matter

the most of what i am saying is this seems like a drama class play,, where is the j mods and why have they not responed in 300 pages.. seems to me there sitting back enjoying what they see.. i understand about the rwt and the scamming i have played before 07.. i didnt mind it then and i wont mind it again.. but lets get over it and make the decision instead of playing cat and mouse,, think it has been long enought now that they should be able to make a decision... dont you ?????

@Dantes Tears, of course it is a problem but Jagex have said themselves that they've updated their methods of tracking rwt, botting, etc. Also I really doubt that they would even consider bringing free trade and the wilderness back if they weren't ready to handle bots and such.

what do you mean by garunteed kill with no risk? Do you mean killing someone knowing they have no items on them? Yeah, of course there are people who would do that.
By the way, your linking RWT and Botting when they are 2 different situations.
RWT -> Gaining in-game items, to resell on different site.
Botting -> Using a program to play your runescape account.
People gaining levels through botting is not the same issue as RWT.
RWT was ruining the game through selling items for real money on thier websites, while causing credit card frauds, which eventually Jagex was held responsible for and were losing money.
Botting for levels is something that lazy people do so that they dont have to do repeatitive tasks themselves.
Although similar, the two situations are different.

can people please stop calling on another noobs or looking at peooples rank and saying oh your so low your opnion does not matter.
everyone is entitiled to there opinon whethere you agree with it or not and rank has nothing to do with this.
also to people that says things along the lines of "and everyone else is wrong"
you have already lost the argument in my eyes when you say somethign like that as it shows you think your the only person that matters and if someoen coems up with a good point your not event willing to acknowledge it.

But atleased u can talk normal no use to talk like that.... u should know if u play this long... mabye 4/5 years back this reaction would be normal but we all grew up don't we...
