in this new wild i have easily downed over 25 sets of claws, 40 whips, 10 dh ***s,and i have ep for the majority of the kills, and i get trash loot, however when i kill a person with d hide i get an ancient and vls? the old wild was much better than this because it actually took some effort to pk and now all you have to do is 76k a friend and get a 5m+ drop, i support old wildy!@@@@@@

That was a fatastic short story, Antmon, it brought back memories thanks I as well miss the feeling of running through the wild watching the mini map scared for my life on a personal quest. And don't forget dragon slayer quest when you had to traverse the wild to find the graveyard full of zombies to get planks now you can just cut a tree and pay 200gp for a plank.

i actually don't want the wilderness back.. but the trade could change.. i mean i wouldn't like "free" trade.. but a higher cap, for like trading friends like great gifts for b-days and all.. When did this exist

I wish people would stop moaning compromises jagex isn't run by Obama there is only here or gone there is no half way you won't get to choose the conditions we had to learn to live with Grand Exchange and trade limits and the restrictions of the new wild to keep playing and so can you. You are all just afraid that when GE goes you'll actually have to work to make money you'll have to join in the market and socialize with people to make sales like we all did for years.
Hide in your holes if you have to if this update comes I am going into the wild, I am going to stand proud in the marketplace and sell my wares at the price i choose. You people are crying cause you think people will start over charging for items just because they can and if you think that then you never knew the real runescape market; prices were never determined by what people wanted it was determined by what people were willing to pay.
You are all just afraid of having to do hard work of having to fight for your life in the wild instead of going on a sunday stroll through the graveyards. This is a medieval game not the future. You think people could strut around in the uncharted wilderness safe from people mugging or killing them in the bronze or iron age? no. But they didn't cry about it and hide in holes either.
You want to play a sissy game where you can strut around go play barbies or something

I for one will be voting yes and would like to add thsi to all the nae sayers. quit crying about it considering runescape was a much better game when the old wildy was there and the free trade limit altho yes i am inclined to agree with some of the comments on rwt's and botter but gues what.. there still in the game at the moment so yet again i reffer to my comment "CRY CRY" i mean realy. and for those who complain about doing clue scrolls and things what are you complaining about you managed fine to do clue's before when the wilderness was there as it used to be. i would however adive putting worlds in place where people who wish to clue can go and get attacked by revents so they can. but realy i will be glad to see the return of free trade and old wilderness as i have always been a pker and when/if the old wilderness comes back i shall be returning to pure pking as before.

also if we get wildy back then it will be chaosAGAIN! Jagex will have to move all the minigames that are in the wildy or might even take some out(Clans wars)(FOG)(agility course)
If the wildy comes back i suggest it multi fighting but you can only atack other players when your into 20 levels of wildy or make it so you can only do 1 vs 1 in the wildy.
If free trade comesback then the G.E. will have to go people could sell u a ab whip for like 14k and prices will start going all over the place for the G.E. why not just make the trade limit higher so that every player no matter how many quests points they have can trade 50k or like 100k something around those.

This is crap.
At first I loved this, but after thinking about it, I realized this is probably the worst thing you've ever done.
First off, this poll is pathetic. There is no "No" option. Whatever figures you get will misrepresent the actual community opinion.
Second, Jagex... HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MINDS!!!!!!! By bringing back the Old Wild and Free Trade, you will bring back the same problems you had back in 07 (scamming, botting, RWTing, gold farming, hacking, etc.). You'll wreck the economy like you did when you added the GE and Trade Limits and took away the Wild (maybe even worse!). I'm not too concerned about scamming because that's based mainly on common sense. But think about all the botters, gold farmers, and Real World Traders that will come back in mass. Most of those 60,000 accounts you lost in 07 were not legitimate players. In fact, I believe probably only 10% of those were actually real players.
Third, this will make so many things would be so hard with this (green dragons, clue scrolls, K*D, Corporeal Beast, etc.). The community back in 07 would leave people doing those things alone. Unfortunately, our community has degenerated to a bunch of little jerks. Got to a PvP world and you'll see what I mean. Skillers try to get yew logs because they are too crowded in regular worlds, and people always kill them. With the community we have now, anyone who tries to do a clue scroll or do green dragons or get to SC will get slaughtered. Even though some of the old community will come back, most of the people who left back in 07 weren't legitimate players. So now, especially with the community we have now, this will be impossible.
Now don't get me started on everything you haven't told us. Like GE**** worlds, and PvP only drops, and too many others to mention. So basically, I'm withholding my vote until I know more.
This is by far the worst thing you have done to Runescape. If this goes through of course. So, bottom line is... DON'T VOTE!!!!

While the voting for the return of the wilderness and free trade is well and good, there is a MASSIVE flaw in the voting system (and it isn't for just only voting yes.). As I have traveled Runescape, I've noticed people telling people to vote for their friends, and to vote other people's usernames into this vote. As no ******** is required to do this vote, this is a very serious matter.
I know a good few people who do NOT want the wilderness and free trade back, and I also know a good few that DO, however, with the fact that people are putting in other people's usernames into this vote, this makes the whole voting unfair and it is pretty much like stealing an account to vote with. This is absolutely unnacceptable, and it needs to be changed.
Personally, I don't support the free trade idea, but the wilderness, I am neutral about, but if people are taking other usernames and putting them in the vote, it makes the whole vote pointless. People are genuinely taking other names and putting them in for their own gain. For all I know, someone might have put my username in by now as well.
This is a serious matter to BOTH those who want wilderness and free trade back and those who don't. The voting system is flawed and there are a good many people who are taking advantage of this flaw. I've stood by long enough, and I realized that I needed to speak out about this matter.
If the voting system isn't changed somehow to prevent others from taking other usernames into the vote, then the wilderness and free trade return, should it happen, will have happened unfairly, and many players will be upset when they learn how it was brought back unfairly.
I'm speaking for all the honest players in saying that the voting system for this needs to be altered so that people can't exploit it for their own gain. If it is not altered, then the entire vote will continue to be exploited. I can't stand by and let this happen. I have spoken my mind on this matter. I hope others will listen.

the vote was pointless because it is so fake.. i think jagex was planning on bringing back old wild anyways because they see how many people quit after free trade and wildy were removed and now they see how stupid bh worlds are, and tbh if clues are the main reason tht some people dont want wild back then so be it, if the wild came back i doubt the main thing on anyones mind would be to do clues, it would be to pk with friends and enjoy how beast rs was before the ge and trade restrictions
