Hey guys, i would love free trade to come back, not so much the old wilderness set-up.,but that's life.
I am curious about how many votes would need to be collected for Jagex to bring back these old features?
Also i am wondering where places like clan wars, stealing creation, corp, KBD, black salamanders and green dragons would be placed after the update?

I can't wait, when i heard about this even being a possibility i called all of my old friends who used to play back in 2007 and before. They were all thrilled to start playing runescape again because they knew it was going to be the way it was before... so the question is how many votes is it gonna take?

I agree 100% because the first thing I plan to do when/ if the old wilderness comes back is go out pking and get the loot im supposed to get off a kill instead of what happend to me yesterday i killed a guy wairing full bandos with claws yet i got 500k loot. that isnt right i preferd old wilderness because when you kill someone in dharoks you got dharoks or if you killed someone with a whip and there prayer droped as they died you got the whip instead of this rubbish where they dont need prayer because they keep there whip or whatever anyway not right. i realy wish that runescape would go back to the way things were before as i hate this GE noncence where merchant clans can just buy out an item from ge and fource the prices up so they make money good luck doing that with free trade. is all im going to say if you want to make money go make money do skills do things the good old fashion way

as for the remarks about things like clan wars and kbd and fog. those have always been in the wilderness and should remain so. and i dont see what people are complaining about as old wilderness you dont get skulled just for loging in its not like it is now. wilderness was always a danger and yes if you got skulled you would lose all of youre items and yes if youre prayer droped you would lose everything but thats just a risk you would need to take

Jagex is only trying to bring back the players that quit the game back in 2007, but do you think this will come true?
Obviously most of those player won't play anymore because they have either grown up or gone off to world of warcraft or any other MMO. Some of them might have gotten a girlfiend and might not wanna play anymore.
The only people who want it back are the ones who accepted the change trade limits**** and revenants.
When you reopened Runescape classic then you found out that most players didn't give a damn about that game (although it had the old wildy and free trade in it).
Pkers in old wild are like Mosquito's, they just follow you around(no matter what) and want you dead.
If getting a profit is more important than getting rid of real world traders then fine by me.
I guess the Mighty Dollar triumphs over safe gameplay.

If we get old wildy back the drop system will be 100% more simpler just get ewrything the opponent got when u kill him simple! and Much much much! more fun and.You know u get that tense fellling (OMG IF I KILL HIM I WILL GET ALL HIS STUFF)
i really miss that because no mmo can offer that since 2007.

The way this is being conducted, without a 'No' vote option is incredibly irresponsible - the fact they now call it a petition is irrelevant. I'm sure this could have been done in a more satisfactory way - with everyone able to record their opinion - not just those in favour.
The fact that any number of people can enter my screen name - or anyone else's, and then vote as many times as they like is a complete farce - the vote counter means absolutely nothing.
I would be neither for or against the proposal, if I had any confidence that RWT's, macroes, Bots etc could be stopped - but based on the fact that there are currently thousands of accounts botting on EVERY skill in the members game (which I report regularly when I see tem) - and even more in F2P, which JAGEX seem to have no way of stopping, I find their claims that this will not get worse quite ludicrous.
I would therefore vote NO - if I could - but I can't.
Just the new management planning to line their pockets with an influx of young teenagers no doubt. C'es**** Vie.

i remember those days when i was out pking and i ran into some wanabe hybrid in ahrims and karils and i would drop him and walk away with his ahrims and karils or even mystic and whip. i made my money that way back when pking was actualy challanging nowadays all you need to do is get a torso firecape and tassets and a pair of claws and you can spec out people. wow thats sooo much skill. im sick of seing those idiots that cant pk rushing with claws and making money off it thats not skill thats being an idiot
