I'm not particulary opposed to this update, but i'm not exactly for it either.
However, I have come aross some strange things recently.
Of course, there was the more obvious "Guiness World Records" label at the bottom of the voting page (Removed as of 21st December.)
Another thing that struck me, in the news post, was this:
"...We’ve picked up a number of Guinness World Records along the way (and counting)..."
Particulary the "and counting" part seemed a bit of a strange thing to put considering the update.
Also, the idea that we are not required to log in, and we can vote for other a*counts seems very strange for an update of such importance to the Runescape community.
Finally, at the "Strange event" riot in Falador , I can quote Mod Mark H to have said:
"We won't be bringing Wildy back fyi"
(I won't provide link, as i'm not quite sure of how that stands on the rules, but if you youtube "Mod Mark H at the strange power riot" you should hopefully find it.)
In the course of 10-11 months, can Jagex really have done a complete U-Turn? Or is the lady not for turning?
(Political refrence right thar. I need a hobby...)
In conclusion, i'm not accusing Jagex of anything, apart from being an unpredicatble, and at times, odd company. Vote, or don't, its up to you.

Loved having to go on forums to look for yew logs and strings to buy lol. I guess those days are far and gone.
You think if the free trade does go through, the trade places like fally park in world 2 will become populated again?

If GE is out,you can't buy the common things.
For example: your prayer level is 70,and you want 80. you will need 5k Dbones if using g altar.
Let's see: some people have 100 or 200 dragon bones,that you can buy. So u will ask 50,100,or more people ,if they won't sell their bones*
** is the best thing in RuneScape.

Edit: ^^GE was a separate update from the trade limit, and happened before it. I don't think it's in danger of being removed at all.

Remember law running?
I sure hope this all works out, there are so many great runescape things that have been all but impossible for years.

Ok here goes:
1. Make worlds for Non PVP with improved reves, worlds for old PVP, worlds for Bounty Hunter & Worlds for Full World PVP. Now all flavours of worlds are covered.
You get your non PVP if you like that, you get your PVP if you like it with old style drops, you get your targets if you like that in bounty hunter & you get your different environments if you like full world PVP.

2. Keep all activities in the wilderness they are do able on the non PVP with rev worlds as well.
This gives them the danger level they were suppost to have for such a reward still. Weather it's revs or pkers the extra danger that is suppose to be there is there.

3. Add scamming/ luring back to the rule section even when old PVP was around this was a popular move & it helps improve the community we don't need scammers here. I say scamming is cheating you want to crack down on cheats scamming should be there. Scamming & Learn from mistakes is the nonsense that gave this community a bad name in the first place years ago.
Add a note about merchant clans to so if they dump early then advertised or make promises that they cannot keep theres some action taken it's not right to tell someone that a certain player made there mills there or that you will make mills. There promises should be above board or there scamming as well.

4**** add free trade! Update GE as intented it's a great idea.

There that should make 99% of people happy :)

As a newbie all I did was pk, I would be lying if I said I did*’t miss the rush of Adrenaline from killing someone and taking that shiny **it of amour or big stack of runes back to my bank and I’m sure allot of the older players can relate.
I would love to have my wilderness back and go out pking with a clan again, but I am concerned that it will bring back scammers in a big way, this isn’t something to just add back to the game without considering the effects it will have on what’s here now.
I don’t support the return of free trade, it really hasn’t bothered me and I’m sure it has save more than a handful and unsuspecting players from losing everything they have worked so hard for when buying or selling a big drop or bunch of collected resources.
In any case, I do like seeing jagex asking to hear our voices in bolder manner than usual about these things but I’ll refrain from be hasty with my voting.

Gad Zook, i completely forgot all about law and nat running until you just reminded me then.
Only these days i will be able to be the on at the alter making the laws now =).
I use to love if when essence was so cheap and ppl making double nats for ya.
