Its also funny that jagex are going to have people rage either way.
One of two things will happen
1) this was fake and just for the guiness world records
2) old wild comes back (easy to see this option would already be decided with just the vote yes option)

BTW if people havent noticed yet (dunno how ucouldnt) theres been 2 j mod posts on this, 1 as the actual post and 1 by mark, clearly jagex doesnt care about what people think on the subject, their decision has already been made ;)

I'm against.
This is the worst possible thing you can do to Runescape.
Wild:
I don't want to be killed when I go to do clue scrolls, clan wars, king black dragon , penguin hunting, stealing creation, agility, rune crafting or killing green dragons. :@
And what will happen to the chaos tunnels under wild?
Free trade:
This is going to completely ruin the GE. This will be a lot worse than merchanting clans.
Maybe raise the trade limit a little.

I'm bloody sick of all the bull on this thread.
The solution to this problem is simple:
1. Increase the trade limit by 600% (should be more than enough, that's over 1 mill for friends) and increase the G.E. max and mins by 20% each (so min is market price -25%, max is market +25%).
2. As for the Pk'ing thing, just change the looting system to how it was, but only on PVP worlds.

I agree with Forum Mod DobbelB...
If Free Trade is brought back the G.E. should still STAY. It's a pretty kool idea in general, it's nice to put an offer that don't sell/buy right away, go off and do some barrows runs or gwd-ing or questing and such, and while banking be able to receive your items/cash when your stuff sold/bought.
Plus, the G.E. has that whole items price tracking system-thingy on the Runescape website which is pretty awesome too because it gives you an idea of the prices of things which is pretty helpful when planning how much you need to save or spend for an item or goal.
However, if Free Trade comes back AND the G.E. stays then the G.E. should be tweaked to allow your price offers to not be limited to any restrictions or price ranges, because if the G.E. stays with price restrictions then the simple act of Free Trading will trump the use of the G.E. by far.
And lastly, the Wildy SHOULD be brought back! Reason: It was a very integral part of the games allure that attracted myself and many of my friends to this game when we all started. If it can be brought back without compromising the integrity of the game itself... then bring it on! :)

apart from that i do not care, i agree let the people sook about getting pked, ive been around since the start n i loved it, trust me i aint sooking about that.

My opinion is strong towards free trade and old wilderness back. When or if free trade is offerd again people will be flocking back to runescape. Stakers, pkers, low level skillers that need money to start from their main's account. This will fix the problem of the "new" merchants ruining items prices by buying massive amounts of them. Ive been playing since 2003 and I loved free trade and even though I was never a good pker...I still had fun trying. I did scammed a few times when I started back in classic but now you have player moderators and maybe they can actually do their job that they have earned.
If its about money if the wild is going to be back I will pay to make my pking account a member again. I would also have more of an incentive to start training my combat stats so I myself on my main can pk with my friends.

Jagex. This is a plea to you as I'm sure many others will follow suit. Please change the voting system to make it a fairer vote for the community.
This is in no way a biased post, either, because I want more than anything for Runescape to have Wilderness and Open Trade back again, but the voting system is just wrong. It needs to be a vote for yes OR a vote for no, not simply a vote for yes and we'll assume that people who didn't vote don't want it back.
A poll on the main website is the way forward for this, but as of now, I'd encourage fellow players to avoid voting until the vote is treated fairly.
