Solastic, your opinion is your own but I would like to tell you something that you might not have thought about.
1. RSC(Runescape Classic) only has a few players because you have to be: 1. Member 2. On classic during a specific time of the year for it to be unlocked to you (talked about at the end of last year).
2****(Runescape today) will still have hundreds of thousands of players if not more because of retired players that may find out about the update and start playing again.
3. When a new Runescape version comes out then RSC and current RS will be the same. They didn't ruin the game they are appealing to the players. Didn't you vote also, 90% of 900,000 people voted yes. Meaning the other 7% that doesn't want it won't play so about 70,000 people and the 3% that don't give a rats *** will still play also.
4. Do math before you say that Jagex ruined the game.

Nobbit10, I agree with you. So yes it would be harder to get those runes, so the price will probably go up. This will make the risk for using the abyss so much great. But you have to remember, monsters drop tons of bloods and deaths

To be honest I think that Jagex made a very good move with this referendum. I speak of personal experience. When I started playing runescape, in what was it? 2005 I think. There was still free trade, and the old wildy as OLD SKOOL people say. In a while I started playing to level up my character so I could go PK. This was soo much fun. I was so addicted to runescape for about 2 years. Mostly Pkin in my case/or training to get stronger) Also things like duel arena and merchanting was fun. *** then they took away all that. And within 1 month I quit. And that was not only because of the changes, but also because most of my friends quit aswell. Im talking about 50 other ppl quitting because of Jagex removing free trade and the old wildy. Thats when I thought im done with this. (also pures didnt have a meaning anymore because of bh) I played sometimes a little after that but not v much.
So giving us the free trade and old wildy back is gonna be really good for jagex, (Players are certainly gonna come back and more will stay playing RS) And they make us Old school players happy, and im sure that people who have never experienced this are gonna love it.
I'll be back if it really is gonna happen¡

Free trade would be great because i joined runescape about a year ago and it sucks that i cant bring money from my beast account over to my noob one to make it better so as a member i believe i should have free trade as for the wild. i dont care at all what you do with it

If that was sarcasm, you have it too easy at the moment with regards to rune crafting. The abyss was placed in the wilderness because it was to be a risk. I don't agree with them having it so low in wilderness once pking was removed as it is simply a reward for almost zero risk.
If it wasn't sarcasm, you're correct. You will make more but you'll encounter a little more adrenaline rush as you brush past a pker attempting to take you down. Depending on your level of course, you may not even have this issue at such low levels of wilderness (another reason I don't understand the RCers complaints)

the old wild was better, sure people whined about getting scammed, but who gets scammed once and is dumb enough to fall for it again? i remember i lost 600k in the wild in a trade, but i never traded in the wild again. live and learn. the game was better back then and if it comes back i plan on playing again. plain and simple, runescape was better with BOTH free trade and the wildy. and 90% of voters think so too

See? Rune crafters happy, pkers happy, merchanters happy, people who hate mercy clans are happy, runescape has re introduced all of this because they feel like they had made enough progress with anti bot systems, and because of the 10 years. Everyone is happy

I don't really know if it's coming back, i mean they said it would, but haven't we been trying to get it back from the day wildy/ft was gone, it's been like years at least and we all kept trying to get it *ow, I really don't know, because why all of a sudden now would they bring it back when all the players wanted it back all those years when we complained, posted and did many other things to get it back, why *ow? It kind of seems suspicious since even back when it was gone people posted on forums and did fally rebels to get it back.
