Make only some worlds have free trade and others have the trade limit with grand exchange. I don't want a messed up economy and I love the trade limit. It keeps me from getting scammed. The only reason people want free trade is to give stuff away and give others an unfair advantage... Isn't that cheating? Friend or not giving people things is cheating the trade limit is perfect. As for the wilderness it was fun but i could care less. All the old players that quit because of these changes aren't coming back anyways they have moved on. Most players now weren't even around during the free trade and wild in 2006. People don't know how much of a blessing it is to have the grand exchange yet...
My solutions to keep everyone happy:
1. No Wilderness worlds
2. Trade Limit worlds (i don't know how this would work when people would continue to trade for nothing...)
Keep a value of trade around or something to stabilize prices and prevent scamming
Filter bad trades such as: have the trade decline if someone swaps red d chaps for * legs and then have the next trade with the same person have no consequences. If you get scammed 2 times by the same person in 30 seconds you shouldn't play runescape.

I remember the wild. I remember getting green dragons for slayer the very first time. I remember seeing a white dot coming at me while I was busy killing the green beast. I remember dying, losing everything valuable to me.
I remember using the abyss, getting killed over and over again for a few rune essences by the same pker. I never understood the enjoyment this person felt making the game miserable for me with such little reward.
I would like to see something like loot share added for PK. If you want to play the PK game turn it on and make it stay on for a couple hours so people cannot turn it on and off to avoid getting killed. You could not attack or be attacked unless your PK option is turned on. I don’t want a white flag, give the PKers a red skull.
I really liked the addition of the Grand Exchange. Free trade great, but I would like to see the grand exchange include a suggested price range for items. I would also like to see people who abuse the trading **stem banned, just as some are muted for inappropriate language.
I voted yes for one reason. I want all of you who want to run around killing each other to stay north and leave the rest of us that enjoy the all aspects of the game alone.

keplers law most of the high cash players from the old days pking at the abyss was the way they made there cash
today there is a lot of low levs that nat run at the abyss
who are going to be pked daily you all wont the wildy back
but are u willing to pay the price of goods when it comes back

This to me is more than just a vote on free trade and old wilderness. This is a vote to bring the excitement and risk back to the game. The runescape community was admittedly flawed before the 2007 update and it still is, albeit less so. It is understandable that jagex needed to end the problems developing outside of the game in order for runescape to continue being a successful MMORPG. While i am not against their actions to end/control botting and RWT, the actual fun and enjoyment that came from the game dimished significantly. I played because of the freedom the game allowed and while i stilled played on and off following 2007 it was not with the same attention and ambition. The spirit of the game was completely changed through the restrictions put in place and still have not come back. This is an update that will bring the excitement back that felt everytime i logged in. This game was once a real community where buying and selling and interaction between players were needed to accomplish everything. I fully support this update no matter the cost. I trust that Jagex is capable and willing to protect the community without taking away their rights. (sounds like government)
Now to all those who are worried about the wilderness and how it affects the current events and gameplay within it: Why are you so worried!?
Clue scrolls have been done in the wildy for years prior to the 2007 updates. This was never an issue complained about. If you were not capable of safely making it out the wilderness w/ your reward you simply weren't capable of doing clues. Do something else or find a way. Many have.
All of the events that would take place within the wild, if jagex deems to be necessary, will be moved. There should be no issues over this topic.
Now scamming: If you can't read a trade screen or do research before buying/selling an item do not comment on scamming. Your fault. If you can... why are you commenting?

The idea of seperating worlds to trade and restricted trade is not plausible. You would have to have 2 economies running at the same time and it's just not sustainable.

Lethal burst, the ge isn't going anywhere. In my opinion, different worlds with a limit and not is insane! Why would people go and a sell in limited worlds, when they could sell for a higher price? Now, I can maybe see wilderness only worlds, but idk.

Restoration of the old wilderness, Though i don't like it i never said that i will quite over it. That would be crazy. Really crazy, So my plan is simple to fight it every step of the way and than adapt.
I will be here to turn off the lights... LOL
P.S. I hope the restoration of free trade also includes the restoration of unlimited stocks of items in certain shops.
And, that shop prices of items that are commonly sold would revert back to being based upon supply and demand.. Somehow Jagex slipped passed an update tying shop prices to G.E. prices of which does not make sense.
Just because i am on the loosing side of a fight does no mean the fight is not worth fighting.
Same,philosophy i suppose can be applied to a wilderness fight.
But, i am not going to quit because i lost this fight, that will be pathetic.
And, yes to those that quite after the wildy was removed, this is a jab at you.

:@ :Opersonally this is a bad idea im sure half of the voters for yes are scammmers and RWTers that have returned since they heard about free trade and old wildy coming back i would like free trading although, i would hate to see the old wildy come back with all the high level scammers bring people 'safely' to drags then... Kapow! they just lost all their valubales.
i would like free trading back but,that is the return of RWTers Jagex, listen to me if you bring back free trading RWTers will threaten to destroy runescape like last time please dont bring it back.

If you do bring it back here are some tips for people
1.Never trade with someone unless your willing for a 50/50 loss of your item and nothing in return.

2.If you want to go in the wilderness, never go in there unprepare for certain death.
3.dont trust anyone i couldnt even trust my friends back in the day.

Jagex im glad (sarcasm) you brang back the wilderness and free trade to destroy runescape once more you dont remember how hard you worked to get rid of the RWTers its fine how it is now. remember this is my personal opinion. Note to Jagex: i will probabaly quit after you bring it back so this is my last forum post so now i am silenced. i feel sorry for all those people that are going to get scammed,lured and tricked i feel sorry for them.
