solastic, people quit after it bacause no matter who you were, doing good in the wildy was our one goal above all other goals, me and all my friends who were playing, and i quit playing a year ago because i just found the game boring. if this comes back ill play more, because i have that to work for again

I've been reading this forum particularly closely. I rarely actually post, but if it goes through. I'm happy to see wilderness again, real adrenaline, sitting on the edge of my stupid computer chair. Even against rising prices and the inflation that will probably come of this. I'm in support 100%.
Thanks,

Lethal Burst,
I had mentioned the idea of split worlds back on page 955 and I have a thread running on it now. If done properly I see no reason why it wouldn't work other than the resources that Jagex would need to do it.

Solastic why would people continue to play after they took away the two things that were keeping them on this game?
Removing the wilderness affected not only pkers but the prices of items that were being used to train skills. Not only that but people who could not interact with friends as they wanted also lost out.
The removal of all this made this game no different to many others with better graphics and smoother gameplay. Why were they to stay?
I didn't leave per say, but I can see why others did.

i just would like to say somthing.

i was here when there was free trade and old wildy and i thought it made everything so nice and i do miss the "good old days" as jagex puts it and i think there should be worlds for this also i mean come on give f2ps the full wildy ur withholding so much from us already why cant we atleast get tht? and tht is why giving us back old wildy and trade thing would help because it gives us f2ps one more thing also who bothers to bot f2p? its only on a mems and i mean come on if ur mem u can deal with it way easyer because ur paying jagex 6 bucks a month they pay more attention

this is from yohem the annoyed at f2p restrictions

While that is true, (and i admit, i never witnessed the old wildy) I'm still sick of all the noobs (the REAL ones) insulting other players. Of course there will always be those people, but i would assume that the old wilderness PKers were more honorable and helpful. This includes a few things, like not using protection prayers unless you are hopelessly outmatched, (or if the other player started first) and actually helping those "noobs" that are actually just like you and me. Everyone in Runescape was once a "noob," it's not some deadly, super rare affliction.
