Soon or later items will cost 1~15gp and partyhats will be just so exensive tht even jagex couldt afford tht lo. Also people will quit runescape coz it gets messd up more and more everyday.Grand exchange change --- another BigJagexCorp Fail same as removing game fun in 2007.
I voted for Wilderness and Free Trade, and not for Grand exchange corruption, make it minimal to max price again, everything would go just fine as before, game will crush very very sooon.

I've been bothered by that too. It applies to anyone who does combat, not just PVP. Lots of items are incorrectly or stupidly valued in the calculation of what you keep on death.
There may be a reasonable explanation for it that I've never seen (cause I've never gotten around to asking the question) but it's been like this forever as best as I can remember. I just try very hard not to die so it doesn't come up very often....
It seems like that calculation just uses really old values for items, like the very original value from when the item was released, but I don't know if that's the error or not. I really don't see how it can be argued that it's not an error. But there doesn't ever really seem to be any pressure for them to fix the whole system, they just occasionally fix it for individual items.

See Food 209, its been that way since the begining of the game. what is kept is figure by the TRUE value of something, not the player to player value that changes day by day.
the true value is based on stats, not rarity or what people like. for instance, party hats has a true value of 10 gp. the market value is based on the fact that there is only a small number of them in game and a lot more people that want them. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

To all the ones that voted for free trade and wildy and now crying over been pjed and bee killed and losing there stuff
We told u so a number of players tried telling people this would happen before the wildy came back and all we got was insults and abuse pjing was here in 2007 and as long as wildy is here

A vote is a yes or a no.....we didn't get that option.I didn't think Jagex was like that.
And why didn't a few worlds get left like they were as you did for PVP players.
Please Jagex consider giving a few worlds like they were with revs in the wild.The wild was my favorite place to be .I loved doing wild stars.I think then you will find out you have more players on those worlds!
Now I can't go to abyss without being killed ....and I have no weapon....and thats because Jagex put a bounty on all players...*see how many you can kill for a prize*.
Real smart,not!
It's been suggested Jagex perhap's is lining their own pockets.

i did vote no to let old wild get back , because i did know of all the probs there where the first time...
i WHERE a wildy star hunter and loved wildy...
that's fine whit me that jadex wanted old wild back, but why did they take rev and close them in a cave ???

No, since this update was in large part to make PKers so happy they would come back to RS in large numbers, they won't do anything that would offend them. And if you read back in this thread you'll find a number of PKers (who loudly insisted "The wild is SUPPOSED to be dangerous!&quot ;) were expressing their great fear of Revenants. Apparently, since pures don't raise their prayer levels (or some such excuse) they "wouldn't stand a chance against Revs." We wouldn't want to scare all our brand new PKing friends away with big scary monsters now would we?
And regarding Piglet's post:
I'm sure Jagex isn't at all surprised how many people have indicated by their posts that they either weren't aware that there was a second yes/no vote, or who thought that the correct way to vote no was to abstain, like they did on the first vote. It certainly doesn't surprise me. It seems apparent that was just another part of the overall strategy to overrepresent "yes" votes and underrepresent "no" votes.

ive got three weeks left to decide to keep the membership, go to f2p, or quit all together. im sorry to say, the second is almost out of the question, and the first isnt all that far behind. if jagex had just been honest about the vote, it would be a different story. but with the obvious set up, the lies, and then the buy back option for cheatersand finally with the growing crowd of bots, and the censor being a choise, i dont know if i can support this game any longer. its really getting tough. as much a i love the game, my time might be coming to an end. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.
